NH Collection Budapest City Center

The NH Collection Budapest City Center provided a decent stay for my first (and hopefully not last) visit to Budapest, Hungary. I stayed nine nights in November 2021 and opted for one of the residence apartments with a second floor. The amount of space provided was impressive. Loved having a balcony on both floors. Did not use the smaller bath downstairs very much. The apartment provided a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and combination clothes washer/dryer. I was very pleased with he amenities offered in the apartment. I was very happy that the upstairs bathroom had a shower, which did NOT leak! Many other hotels are installing showers with a completely useless half shower door. The upstairs shower was a full enclosure and did not suffer an extremely wet floor with damp towels after showering. Bravo NH Collection Budapest City Center! The staff at the hotel were very helpful and I very much appreciated that the breakfast staff did not turn guests away if they showed up for breakfast after breakfast had ended. Guests were still allowed to have breakfast as long as food items were still available to be taken. However, after a few days, the breakfast options are a bit boring (same every day). The coffee is outstanding and offered all day long. Cookies and other snacks are available as well. I noticed that the business center computers still had Windows 7 installed?! Perhaps change that and update the operating system on the computers. Needless to stay, I did not use those computers. As others have mentioned, the hotel is within walking distance to an accessible MTS underground train station, Lidl grocery, the New York Cafe and a very good burger restaurant (Vaslap). All things considered, I would probably consider staying again or recommend to others opting to visit Budapest. Hope this review helps!

The location and breakfast are excellent. Room is clean and tiny. Due to its high popularity in that area, you may not be able to do check in before 3 PM. Arrange you r time accordingly.

I stayed here with my granddaughter for four nights in November. After travelling all day it was very convenient to be able to obtain a nice bar snack rather than having to go out to find a restaurant. The hotel is in a wonderful location, very convenient for visiting the main tourist attractions and only a few minutes walk from the Central Market Hall, Liberty Bridge and Vaci Street. Our room was cosy, spotlessly clean and everything we needed had been thought of. The breakfasts were excellent value, offering food and drink options to suit all tastes and/or diets. The staff were friendly and professional and happy to provide information should you need it. A lovely touch demonstrating the excellent attention to detail was experienced on the evening we set off to go to a restaurant. Stepping outside we realised it was raining and as we turned around to go back inside for an umbrella, a member of staff was already heading to the door to give us one. Thoughtful first class service! I am very happy to recommend this hotel as the perfect place to stay in Budapest.

I can’t really fault this hostel. My friends and I got a six person private room and it was perfect for us. I loved how the shower, toilet and sink are all separated which made it easy for six girls to get ready. The reception was open 24/7 which was really handy for check in or if you wanted to grab some essentials like water conveniently. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The individual charging lockers and lamps were really handy beside each bed. I would definitely come back. Just bear in mind that there is no cleaning during your stay, which was no problem for us. If you need fresh towels or toilet paper or anything you can ask at reception.

I really liked this hostel for a number of reasons. We booked it on booking and could cancel the reservation up to 2 days prior the date of arrival, which is great, and you can pay on arrival (with forints or by card). The staff is pleasant and informative, the whole place is clean and spacious, and the plants give such a nice vibe. We stayed at room with 8 beds (bunk beds). Every bed has a curtain, small shelf, 2 electrical outlets, a lamp and a small cabinet. You can also have a larger trunk beneath the bed, which comes with a lock (it's free of charge). Towels can be rented for €2. Every floor has a bathroom with several showers, toilets and sinks; everything is cleaned daily. The floor where most rooms are has a small kitchen, but on the main floor there is a really big kitchen, study room, game room, living room and every one of them is spacious and airy. Rooms and the hostel door open with a card which you get upon checking-in. The location of the hostel is great, it's next to a city market and around 10 minutes from Vaci street and metro station. Next time I come to Budapest I won't look for any other accommodation, I'm definitely coming back to Flow!

The location is convenient. Take bus 100E from the airport, which takes about 35 minutes, and then walk for 5 minutes to the hotel. Since the room we booked included breakfast (breakfast time is 07:00-10:00), we had to check out early at 06:30 on the last day. As long as we notify the hotel one day in advance, they can prepare a special light meal for us to pick up. The breakfast at the hotel is average, although it is not very rich, but there are all simple things (about 6-7 types of bread, steamed buns, stir-fried buns, sausages, fruits, cheese, cheese, millet flakes...basically all are OK)

My wife and I stayed here at the end of March 2023, in a standard room with Breakfast included. This hotel is centrally located on Vaci, with bars and restaurants situated on the doorstep to the hotel. It is less than 200m to the metro stop and the tram stop. It is also the same distance away from the great market hall and Elisabeth bridge - super location. Check in was quick, simple and staff were friendly. There is small cakes, fruit and hot drinks provided for free in the reception. We were in a standard room with no balcony. The room was modernly decorated and clean. The bathroom was fine, beds were average for comfort and a small fridge was provided. Safety deposit box free of charge and easy to use. Breakfast was really good, coffee was lovely and you could have anything from Cereal, pastries to traditional Hungarian cooked breakfast including eggs, mushrooms and sausage. Super place and wouldn't hesitate in staying again if ever to visit Budapest in the future.
