If you wish to skip read this review I will start with the good, continue with the not so good and end with special thanks to staff that helped make our trip to Budva memorable. The Good, The Hotel location was great, the edge of the hotel is literally yards away from the beach but far enough not to suffer any noise. Our rooms were modern, clean and wardrobe space was more than adequate. The bathroom including the shower was fantastic. The food was good (obviously mass produced). Reception was helpful. The three swimming pools gave you plenty of choice and never felt too crowded. The not so good (won’t spoil your time here), The all inclusive aspect it’s difficult to fathom. The bar by the reception and the pool bar (yes, the pool bar) is not included in the all inclusive. If you want a drink while at the pool you need to walk to the one bar that is included. The gym isn’t included either. This is the only hotel I have been to that does not provide toast at breakfast. At breakfast you can have a small variety of drinks from three different machines, at lunch and dinner there is only water left on at one machine. The whole restaurant queues at the one machine, you ask the already busy staff and they will get a drink for you. Alternatively you can walk out the restaurant and get a drink from the aforementioned bar. We would like to give a Special thanks to the following staff members. People in the area do not speak much English so going to reception where they did we found invaluable. We went several times to ask about diving, tennis etc. Marina and Heric happened to be there every time and always did their very best to assist even when they were busy. In the restaurant we would like to thank Melissa, this young enthusiastic woman always greeted us with her biggest smile and cheery disposition. She is one of those people that is always busy even when others find time to take a break, she found or even made time to ask us if we wanted our normal drinks with our lunch / dinner. Melissa will have a promising future for sure. In the inclusive bar there is Javorka. How do you make someone feel welcome when you don’t speak their language? This lady has found out, with warm smiles and friendly gestures. Again as with Melissa, even though she was always on the go Javorka would rush to you if she thought she could help, nothing appeared to much to ask.
