The building is grandiose, the decorations are rich, the materials are of very high quality, the spaces are vast. The service is catastrophic: the concierge at reception is aggressive at the slightest question, the room is not in the condition of the hotel description, absence of the welcome tray provided with dried fruits, absence of water bottles, absence of tea bags or infusion, absence of cups, broken kettle, refrigerator not in its housing preventing the use of the office, unusable bathroom trash can ... Breakfast can some days be reduced to the leftovers from the day before !!! and the coffee is paid. In short, it is a waste for an establishment that could be exceptional.

Pros: Good location - 10 minutes walk to the old city, where everything is interesting for a tourist in Bukhara. 10 minutes by car to the airport (but it is quiet, planes do not interfere). Bright oriental interior in the lobby. There is water in the room (2 bottles). Good Wi-Fi. Cons: No elevator. They can help with suitcases, but you have to ask. The rooms have windows overlooking the courtyards-wells, where guests walk, so the curtains are always closed, and the rooms are not bright. The rooms are different, I stayed in two - one on the top floor was cramped, the second (on the 1st floor) is more spacious. The beds are massive, with large wooden frame posts, because of which the beds cannot be pushed together, even if you want to. The toilet cistern rattles like an outdoor generator after each flush. The breakfast is a bit strange - lots of sweets, porridge and omelette are in lidded containers, as they should be, but the heating underneath is not turned on, so everything is cold. Coffee is for an extra fee. Overall, the hotel is quite normal. Not a delight, and it is not for spending time in it. It is purely for an overnight stay. But a place to stay overnight with a convenient location.
