Reviews of Grand Bukhara hotel

The hotel is dated and should be avoided if possible. Location is good , a short 15 min walk to the center . Rooms are very old and had a stuffy/ mouldy smell . A/c doesn’t work .Had two functioning elevator and each can carry 4 -5 person at a tine . For a hotel with so many rooms  getting a free elevator is like getting a lottery ticket. Breakfast is not good for western travellers.

Unfortunately the "Grand" Bukhara Hotel does not live up to its name. The room is dreary and not well maintained the mattress is old and the springs are broken making it extremely lumpy. The bathroom door does not close completely and the shower did not have running hot water. The service was okay breakfast was simple. The AC didn't really work which wasn't helpful in the hot July heat. There are many other hotels I would look at before ever considering Grand Bukhara again.

I made a reservation for the trip model and arrived at night, but it was difficult to log in. The internet connects but then it doesn't work, and I have a hard time using it. The breakfast is terrible, and I will never come here again.

About 500 meters from the old town, you will pass through a very dirty construction site. Next to Wyndham. The facilities are very poor. The shower water can only be turned on hot, otherwise it is cold and hot. The network is very slow. The sound insulation is very poor. There are people partying at 2 o'clock in the morning. The front desk service is very good. They helped me call a taxi several times. Every time I called a taxi, the location here seemed to be inaccurate. The breakfast was not very good, there was no milk.

Originally the location of the hotel was good, but the road in front was closed! The ground turned into tatters and billowing dust! And take a detour! The toilet seat is leaking! It's strange that only hot water comes out at night, not frozen water! It won’t be available until morning! The quality of breakfast in a 4-star hotel is beyond comparison!

It is about 2km away from the old town, so we took a taxi to get there.

It has a great reputation, but it is not in the center of the scenic area, although it can be reached in five or six minutes on foot. On the whole, the price-performance ratio is good and suitable for budget travelers. The breakfast is relatively monotonous, with few varieties, just enough to fill the stomach

The hotel is excellent in every aspect and we will share this beauty with our friends.

酒店外表不錯，很高大上，可惜的是，沒有國內星級酒店的服務。或許是住客很少？ 酒店在新區，周邊僅僅有一個小童樂園，沒有吃飯等配套設施，很不方便。離古城直線距離1.5公里㎞，開車3.5公里㎞。

裝修風格好似國內酒店20年前，離古城有些路遠，由於當地打車十分便宜也無所謂了，不過在住宿時，發生了一件不愉快的事，由於我在早期預訂的，而當時有些團隊活動，可能房價便宜了，店家卻在我入住了幾小時後，説我在網上退了此單，因此不能住，如果要住就按當天的價格，現在付款。我不理會他們講什麼，直接與攜程客服溝通，客服立刻回覆此單有效，並無取消，讓我等等，他們去溝通，經過近一個小時的多方溝通，衹有接受我們能繼續住宿，客服説必須要保證我們能居住到，如果出現差價，他們來承擔，讓我放心居住，令我十分感動，多謝攜程盡力為客人解決問題。雖説我不太聽到他們的烏茲別克斯坦語言，但感覺到就是想臨時升房價，而由於我們相互語言不通，衹有利用手機軟件翻譯，所以我當不明白什麼意思，他們也無法，最後在當地總代理溝通後，衹好按原價讓我住，去了幾天，除了此處有這個現象，其他的當地人與酒店都十分好客與遵命契約精神的。布哈拉十分值得旅遊的地方，消費不高，歷史文化名城，下次再來，去古城內住方便好多。

位置還可以，走兩步就走到景點線路上了。

With recent renovation, this hotel has improved significantly and have become a great choice to stay in Bukhara. We were provided a top floor room, kind of a small suite with a separate living area. We loved it very much. Located by the side of the main road, a decently spaced large property. Some of the major attractions are visible from the balcony. Has own parking space. This area is kind of a little pricey one, so the nearby restaurants are also on a little higher side. But the main markets and shopping malls are in walking distance. Yandex is also easily available. The hotel architecture definitely makes you think about it's glorious past. Lobby area is very large with lots of sitting options. Lift works but little slow and small but not an issue. Rooms initially feels slightly stuffy but with airflow it goes away. Furnitures are dated but strong and recently renovated. All amenities were provided. Beds were comfortable and sleep quality was good. Bathrooms (our room had two) were large and contains heating as well. Staffs, especially the ones at restaurant, are always eager to help you in all possible way. Breakfast options were ok. The attending staffs would try to help you with items that you like more. Definitely a great place post renovation. It would be nice to see this place more frequented by travellers. Very affordable rates. Highly recommended.
