Elephant Hab Lodge

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this lodge while experiencing Queen Elizabeth National Park incl. Equator crossing, Kazinga Channel boat tour, Park game drives, Chimpanzee trekking. We have been to a number of lodges during our 2 weeks-trip and all have been beautiful - but Elephant Hab sticks out for Barbra and the fantastic team who provide every guest a heartfelt atmosphere, great service, good mood and fantastic food (in comparison the best). The lodge is beautifully located overlooking parts of the park and more than once elefants crossed close by while a group of joyful velvet monkeys (not disturbing) jumped from tree to tree at the lodge.

We had an excellent stay here. As other have mentioned, the staff was very attentive--especially Barbara, Judas, and Maureen. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the team but in great effort to make it special--including setting up a table near the pool and baking us a cake! We also had a lovely massage here and added on a candlelight dinner. Barbara and the team set up a lovely dinner on our balcony overlooking the savannah. The infinity pool was beautiful and overlooked the savannah. We were even able to see an elephant from the lodge! On the weekend, the lodge also organized a cultural program with a local orphanage to learn about their work and learn about the local music and dance of the communities from where the kids were from, which provided an opportunity to support their great work.

Wow, what can I say about this beautiful place, from walking into reception and being greeted Barbra who had the biggest smile on her face and Judas who was just wonderful we felt at home. The view from our lodge was just breathtaking, the food delicious and every member of staff went above and beyond. I cannot recommend this place and it's staff enough, Elephant hab lodge deserves an award!!

Elephant Hab Lodge is one of the best places we stayed in Uganda. The staff are exceptional and made us feel so special on our anniversary ! Barbra the operations manager helped us coordinate a money exchange as we ran out of shillings and got got us a great rate, she was so attentive the whole time and ensured we had everything we needed! The staff even baked us a cake for our special day which was so kind. Judas the supervisor was always on hand to ensure we were taken care of for all our meals. The food was so incredible. The rooms were very clean and the view was incredible, we saw lots of elephants! The bed was very comfortable. Leonari our room attendant was fantastic as well. We also enjoyed the refreshing pool and saw lots of monkeys! They did our laundry for us as well. The drinks are great and we recommend the specials, thanks to Richard for the drinks! We will definitely be coming back as the hospitality service and standards for this hotel are above 5 stars. They also had a charity and orphanage come and entertain the guests with traditional dances and we learned more about the local community and how we can get involved to help provide educational services to these kids.

This lidge has an amazing view, a nice and clean pool and great rooms with balconies. We loved the warm and welcoming staff. Highly recommend this place!
