Parkview Safari Lodge

Great views of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Friendly staff, ok food, and quiet. The olace felt outdated and very steep to wall to cottage, often slippery when wet. Room was nothing special. Big room with lack of furniture. Drive to Safari entrance was 30 minutes away.

VERY DISAPPOINTING: this hotel is nothing like what I experienced in 2023! In a few years, this hotel will unfortunately not be anymore. We were 8 in 2023 to experience ParkView Safari Lodge. The cottages were very nice but no internet. We used the pool and had fun. The meals were selected with a good size menu. I was looking forward to experiencing it again in Feb 2026 with 10 new friends. Well, what a disappointment! I was so ashamed I brought my friends there: I had no hot water (3 rooms did not out of 6 rooms), the food was cheap, no menus, 1 coffee pot for a table of 11, one of everything for a table of 11, NO internet in the dining room or cottages (only in the top bar). All these small details made the property not worth what they are asking for. We were really ripped off. I talked to the manager and it was like hitting your head on a brick wall. He just apologized but never offered any type of refund, only empty words. I was frank, telling him I will NEVER bring other friends here. We came all the way from Canada and USA, paid big bucks and were let down by this property. There is NO quality/price. But the animals in QENP did not let us down as we had a wonderful time there. Save yourself disappointments and do not go to ParkView Safari Hotel. P.S. They dared asking me to pay for 1 beer after me not getting hot water!!

Great stay: Group of 14 colleagues from an international company stayed at Park View for one night. The service was excellent, the huts were very comfortable and had outstanding views, and the food was good. Moses and his team were wonderful hosts, very attentive to our needs and friendly. Thank you!

The Parkview Safari Lodge room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed, soft towels, and toiletries. The woodwork in the room was beautiful. Our meals here were very good. The staff members were all very attentive and were happy to help whenever needed.

This place is exceptional! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like VIP’s by Annette and all the amazing staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The views not only from our room but also the restaurant,were incredible. The bed was so comfortable and the room was immaculate & spacious, as was the bathroom. The food well exceeded any expectations we had and they had nice cold wine & beer after a hot day of safari-ing! We loved our stay here and thoroughly recommend this lodge if you are in this part of Uganda. 10/10 🙌🏻

The lodge is very close to the road and easily accessible. It is quiet and peaceful, which is perfect for a solo vacation. The view from my cottage (Ntare) was lovely, and in the morning, I would always see elephants at the park. The cottages are really spacious, and the beds are big and super comfortable. Loved the bathrooms and the excellent water pressure. The only downside is that the place does not have a stable network, and there is no wifi in the cottages, only at the restaurant. The staff, especially Francis, are very welcoming, accommodating (I asked the chef for chapatti, which wasn't on the breakfast menu, and he made me some the next day) and professional. Unfortunately, I only took videos, so I can't upload them here but trust me, pictures don't do the place justice.

I have so many positive things to say about Parkview Safari Lodge in Uganda. Everyone I speak to, family, friends, co-workers or strangers, about my trip is getting a glowing recommendation and complete support from me. In fact, I cannot wait to save up some funds to stay at this lovely place again. The staff took good care of us, and made things happen with ease Parkview Safari Lodge staff is hard working and went above and beyond to make every moment special. The scenery was gorgeous surrounding Queen Elizabeth NP. I was so comfortable at the lodge, that I would have been happy to spend all day on the property. But, I did not travel to Africa to sit around. The people are amazing: hard working, soft spoken, and very proud of their heritage. The wildlife was obviously is fantastic, but the employees of Parkview Safari Lodge made it extra special. In addition to the hospitality staff here, I was equally impressed with the trekkers, rangers, guides and porters that dedicate their lives to protecting their local wildlife! Thank you Parkview Safari Lodge for the trip of a lifetime. I appreciate everything that you do. When I go back to Africa, I want to stay there again. I would like to recognize some very special employees that made me feel so welcome, and I think are great humans: Hope: so enthusiastic, positive energy; it was a delight to be in your company. Anita: Thank you for your friendly ways, and helping me with everything during my stay. (I bought the “child size flip flops for my adult feet) Justine: You were so gracious and warm. I felt like we were kindred souls. Best of luck with your construction additions to the property. Your staff was lovely. I am forgetting some wonderful employees. Comfortable lodge in an excellent location with welcoming staff. We were lucky enough to get a cabin facing directly onto the Queen Elizabeth National Park with a generous balcony and wonderful views. While the lodge isn't inside the park itself, the journey to the entrance is only a few minutes and we didn't experience any queues getting into the park. The staff at the lodge were very helpful. Francis, our personal butler during our stay was very attentive and arranged all our meals for us. He was excellent and made our visit even more comfortable. The lodge also has a nice swimming pool.

The only thing that could have made this lodge better was to stay there longer! The only lodge that we truly enjoyed the pool area as we were busy but I would definitely recommend using this lodge as a home base to many adventures if possible. The views were spectacular and the food was great. They are in the midst of rebuilding from a fire but they are doing there best to keep everyone comfortable whilst they rebuild.
