Camping Fuentes Blancas

I believe the management are in an enviable position just a few hours drive from the Santander Ferry Terminal, and dont need to try too hard. A great location, bus stop outside for Burgos centre, on site restaurant and small shop for essentials. The camping facilities however are tired dated poorly maintained and grubby, very much in need of some deep cleaning in showers toilets and grounds maintenence. We were there two days and didn't see a cleaner A simple staff walk round in the morning would help to highlight the issues mostly simple and inexpensive to put right.

This is the second time we have used this site. Easy to find, a nice walk into Burgos centre takes around 30 minutes, an easy, flat walk along the river. Staff in reception very friendly and all speak good English. You can choose your own pitch, the main part of the site is laid out in 4 long areas with numbered pitches and areas around the perimeter which don’t appear to have ehu. All pitches are shaded with lots of trees all over the site. The washroom facilities are clean, showers hot, although maybe a bit dated. We had a few heavy thunderstorms whilst there and did not experience any problem with water logged pitch etc… The bar area has a good vibe, being busy and bustling with campers plus locals, service is quick and food looks delicious. The bar area could do with an update but it’s fine for purpose. Small shop on site. Overall I would recommend this site, especially for a few days to see Burgos.

We have visited this site since 2015, it seems the 10 years they haven't improved or maintained the site to a sufficient standard. No water stands anymore, electrics very poor state, still using old 2 pin connectors. There are pitches roped off as not safe to use due to pot holes. I asked for the disabled shower facilities, there isn't any the receptionist told me. Quote from web page.. "Space adapted for people with disabilities We work for the inclusion of people , so we provide every facility so that people with any disability can enjoy our facilities without any inconvenience" The pool only opens when the kids finish school in July... Restaurant food is the best part of this site...

Clean and tidy site. friendly staff. Both in reception and the restaurant. Looking forward to a few days here and a meal tonight here in the restaurant. Good to be here . Lots of good walking around here. Arrived in high winds and helped find a good spot. As a solo woman feels safe

Acceptable site just but quite tired and very busy for touring pitches when we were there in early June (which probably explains why they get away with charging 27 euro with ACSI (33 without) Grass pitches with a lot of trees so could find shade but looked like they got quite muddy in heavy rain Amenities were tired and needed major update but were kept reasonably clean Hot water in showers and washing up areas was intermittent WiFi didn’t work which for the price charged was annoying Pool was empty which again they happy to charge but not provide the facilities. Been on better sites in Spain and paid only 17 euro
