It is amazing hotel and welcoming manager. I am really grateful for him because I was very late and i did not find a taxi . I had a job interview in the morning and made his son take me in his own car. I really really appreciate that.

The Room looked clean and basic when we went in. Until we found the first issue...toilet seat hanging off. Huge long cobwebs hanging on the ceiling right above the bed. Ripped duvet cover and pillow cases. Filthfy bathroom skirting board, thick with dust, hair, and what looked like old dead bugs! Dirty bath. And there must be a serious problem with the drains, toilet flushes etc. .as i was kept awake all night by constant loud girgling bloked overflowing loud drain sounds!! A horrid experience, and we wont be returning.

Surprisingly good facilities for the price point. Well situated for a ramble. Mostly friendly staff aside from one miserable older man working in the pub/reception.

The only ‘ down’ was that the sat-nav did not connect with the post code! Apparently this is a common fault, and they really need to fix it! We arrived on a rainy night, and went quite a way off course! However, apart from that, everything was perfect. Clean warm room, spotless bathroom, and good food. Will go again!

In a cold snap would be nice to have allocated rooms heated to a reasonable temperature before arriving. Certainly didn't feel like the temp on the thermostat.
