The room is a bit small but very clean. You can buy and cook it yourself. The location is very good. There are shops and restaurants around for shopping. The floor is quite high and you can enjoy the scenery!

Have been visiting this hotel for over 10 years to see family locally. Location is great and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the rooms have been pretty much left to age and are in desperate need of refurbishment. Such a shame and I hope this is addressed soon

Great visit again. quality food quality staff Joanne and ladies at breakfast excellent as always. Wife was impressed with the friendliness and poached eggs. Looking forward to coming back in December for the market and hospitality we experience.

Very comfortable accommodation in general and great service and food at breakfast time. Check in dead straightforward and staff all very friendly. Good value for money and very convenient location for my visit to relatives, local swimming pool and town centre.

The room was nice and clean with kettle and plenty of tea, coffee etc, the bed was nice and big and the pillows just perfect, had two great nights sleep and had the all you can eat breakfast on the Sunday morning to finish the weekend off which was warm and plentiful, want to give a special shout out to Sandra and Harley that were working the night shift over the weekend, they went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble, they knew how to treat the customers and it was a pleasure

This is my first time staying at the Bury branch - I needed somewhere to stay for Bury 10k ideally near a tram stop and the town centre for convenience, and this branch ticked both of those requirements. I've stayed at the Prestwich branch earlier this year and even though Premier Inn have a set of standards across all sites, there's enough of a difference that I thought I should take note for TA. To get here from Bury Interchange, take the pedestrian exit directly to the right of the ticket office as you're facing it, follow the path 'round, and use the underpass. You can get trams directly to Bury from Piccadilly and Victoria, but when the signals failed on Sunday afternoon there were also bus services taking you into Manchester city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful particularly Jenna who was present throughout my stay. The rooms themselves are a good size with comfy beds, nice bathrooms and lockable doors all present and correct. There's also air-con, a tea station, a small wardrobe alcove with hangers, and a Hollywood-style mirror and hairdryer for beautifying yourself. Housekeeping is done on request. There are decent-sized tellies but I didn't use either of the ones I had access to. Wifi quality was brilliant and didn't drop out once. Plenty of sockets available but no USB ports, so pack a plug for your charger. You can hear the odd noise from trams or the road if your windows are open but given how close you are to the town that's to be expected. As far as food goes, the menu here is far more varied than my April stay at Prestwich. I'm not sure if this is unique to this Premier Inn (being a town-centre branch) but because of how much choice was on, I ate there both nights. On the first night I kept it light with tomato soup and garlic bread but on the second I had a vegan burger. Decent grub on the whole with reasonable prices, plus the restaurant/bar itself is pleasantly designed and peaceful. On the first night the restaurant was nearly full but both ladies on duty managed perfectly - fair play to them! Onto the small negatives: the water pressure for the shower wasn't the best (could've been the time of morning I chose to use it though), and I did flag with Reception that the lamp in room 111 wasn't working. I tend to use lamps rather than 'big lights' especially if I'm using the desk but given I was only stopping a couple of nights it wasn't a huge deal. The chap on breakfast duty did say they'd send someone to fix or replace it but this didn't happen during my stay. There was also an incident during my second night there involving some numpty hammering loudly on numerous doors on the first floor. I went downstairs to alert security after it happened twice in the space of five minutes, and ended up moving rooms. The behaviour of other people isn't the fault of the PI staff and Reception suggested that a room move was the quickest solution (which I agreed with). I'm not sure how they dealt with it after that given I cou

Visited this morning after early mornng walk. Fantastic service as always, quite this morning so it was made to order breakfast instead of buffet self serve. Good quality ingredients, no #Browns sausages or Blackpudding for me as on Slimming World but still delicious 😋

A trip to Bury Met for a gig meant a possible late night, perhaps creating a problem getting back home on public transport. This Premier inn is perfect, near the tram, bus interchange , Bury Met & town

The hotel is centrally located in Bury a few minutes from the transport interchange. The staff are both friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable with the bonus of air con making sleep much more rewarding. The restaurant had nice meals and were easily able to adapt my needs. One thing is the route to the hotel as a pedestrian is a bit confusing but follow the car route and you’re fine.

Have stayed at this hotel multiple times and can honestly say it has been a brilliant stay every time. The staff are always polite and happy to help with anything you need. Alison, jenna and cath are always there with a smile to brighten your day. Makes the stay 10x better when the staff are so lovely a real credit to the hotel. And make sure you ask alison for a sundae (makes a cracker) 10/10 stay experience

We stayed here for my sisters wedding, just adults the night before. The location was perfect for going into town the night before the wedding and for the registry office the following day. We had dinner on the afternoon of the wedding but we felt we were an inconvenience. The food overall was good but the chicken poppers and goujons tasted of fish. I would guess this is due to things being cooked in the same fryer. Security was very good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It had everything that we needed.

This PI is situated in the centre of Bury, only a 4 minute walk for the bus and tram interchange. So it can be a cheaper alternative to an expensive Manchester hotel. The last tram from Manchester is 11.30 weekdays and 12.30am at the weekend, and is about a 30 minute journey. I was meeting up with friends for a get together in Bury centre, so this PI was perfect for me. All I really needed was a bed at night and a shower in the morning, and PI always do a good job. I'd give breakfast there a miss as there a cheaper alternatives in town, again a short 4 minute walk away. But overall you can't go wrong with a Premier Inn.

Good location with fantastic staff. The hotel is looking a little bit tired but spotlessly clean. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and the air conditioning was good. Will definitely stay here again when up in the area visiting family.
