Hotel Hongdan

Pros: 1. I really loved the location. It's literally a couple of minutes from the beach, and everything you need is nearby. 2. The staff was polite. You can leave your belongings at the front desk for free. I was a bit late checking out, but no one rushed me or charged a late fee. They kindly helped me carry my things out of the hotel. 3. Upon arrival, towels, bathrobes, toothbrushes, slippers, toothpaste, and razors were provided. Cons: 1. At first glance, everything seemed very clean. But on closer inspection, that impression faded. The walls had stains, and the wallpaper was peeling from the moisture. In the bathroom, there seemed to be black mold. Isn't that a health hazard? I believe cleanliness is a basic necessity, even in a 3-star hotel. My room was booked during a high-demand period, and the price was around 4,500₽ per night, which I think is expensive for this kind of accommodation. 2. For me, among other things, it was important for the hotel to have a washing machine/laundry service. I didn't understand the point of a washing machine without a dryer. Because of the humidity, clothes simply don't dry. My socks took over a day to dry in the room. I dread to think what would have happened if I had tried to wash jeans; they would have just gotten moldy. 3. I never figured out how to get my room cleaned. The buttons by the door didn't switch, and it always defaulted to 'do not disturb'. So, there was no room cleaning for over a week. To be fair, though, I also didn't request it.

It's very clean and convenient. It's right by the sea, there are restaurants nearby, and a bus stop not too far away. The only downside is that it's a bit of a walk to the subway, about 20 minutes.

I was on a business trip and looking for a budget-friendly place, and this hotel offered great value for money for that purpose. The cleanliness was satisfactory, and the soundproofing was also quite good.
