Hound Hotel Busan Station

LG styler inside room helped clothings clean everyday. Big TV as well. Stayed for 2 nights, but no more free water provided for 2nd day, it does not make sense for a hotel. Staffs are mostly kind.

I really like this hotel.  The staff on the 12th floor was absolutely amazing. One thing to note about this particular hotel is that holidays have very strict rules in that there are no special requests. One thing I did not like is the fact that they wanted to take down a credit card number when I checked in even though I’m using trip.com. I understand that there are not special requests and checkout times are not very flexible during holidays, though I do feel the fact that I could not use the swimming pool on the day of checkout after my checkout time of 11 AM was unreasonable. Because I had a late flight going back to Shanghai, I felt it would’ve been more appropriate to allow me to use the pool after I checked out so I could utilize my time at the hotel a little bit better. There is an alternative terrace for people who smoke cigarettes.  there are some room rooms which allow pets, and I think my room was treated well considering that. The air conditioner goes directly onto the bed, so maybe I had to get up a couple of times to turn it off or on. The room was very clean and comfortable. Although there was not a luggage rack, I was able to make it work in terms of the seating area in the room. The view from the hotel room was really nice because you could see the train station. The walking distance to the bus stop was good. I don’t understand those little call-girl cards at the entrance, but I think that’s just part of Busan.  The hotel had nearby bus service and the train station was only 350 m away next to the bus stop.  The view from the pool was beautiful even though there’s a lot of buildings in the process of development.  the buildings under construction had their lights on at night so it made everything really pretty and photogenic. The food was delicious, though I do think it was a little bit overpriced. I do appreciate the free perfume and feel the breakfast was tastey as well.  I would actually stay there again because of the price and hope that they can expand their luggage storage area so the lobby looks a little bit more inviting.

Great boutique hotel located very close to Busan Station (less than a 10-minute walk). Even with large suitcases, the path is easy (if you walk from the back of the station #exit 8). What I loved: 1/ Smart Room Layout: The room is perfectly partitioned with a separate toilet, shower, and an external vanity sink. This was incredibly convenient for getting ready quickly in the morning. 2/ Comfort: The bed was wide and cozy, and the room included two chairs and a massive TV with plenty of channels. 3/ LG Styler: A huge bonus! This steam closet was a lifesaver—it refreshed and sanitized our clothes, removed odors, and flattened out wrinkles every day. It’s such a premium amenity that we used constantly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and well-equipped stay in Busan!

In terms of value for money, the hotel is decent. The interior is pleasant and modern; it seems new, but it is no longer perfectly clean. In my room, for example, the toilet seat cover was taped with duct tape, there were splashes on the walls in some places, and stains on the ceiling. However, the rooms are cleaned well, towels are changed every day, and if you ask not to be disturbed, they leave everything you need in a basket outside your room. The hotel is very conveniently located for a short visit to Busan (up to 3-4 days), close to the train station and between the main attractions (it takes about the same amount of time to get to each direction). The trains were not audible in the room, and overall the hotel is quite quiet. I had a spacious room where I could open my suitcase normally, but there was still not enough storage space (at least more hangers for clothes are needed). There are also no cutlery in the room, which is a minus. There is a clothes styler - something like a steaming closet, which turned out to be convenient, as I didn't need an iron. The pool area is relaxing, you can take beautiful photos, and the water is warm. I didn't like the breakfasts. On weekdays, they are served à la carte, the selection is modest, and the coffee is not tasty. There are many coffee shops and cafes around the hotel, so it's better to go there. I was very surprised that upon check-in, they asked for a deposit of 100,000 won (or a card). In 10 years of active travel, I have never encountered this anywhere in hotels especially without notification.

Great hotel to stay in for access to other parts of Busan via public transport i.e. Busan Station. Will love to return!

highly recommended! Perfect location steps from Busan Station, rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful with good English. Great value for travelers needing easy transit access. Will stay again!

The location is very near Busan station but far enough not to be noisy. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful which makes a big difference! The view from the swimming pool, especially at night is stunning. A great experience! I would recommend this hotel for short visits.
