CP Inn Hotel

This hotel is a bit far from everything, make sure to download grab app on your phone if you need to go anywhere. Our room was clean but the A/C was not cool enough, wifi slow and unstable, the water heater has to reset a few times to kick start, and there is only one electric socket, 2 if unplug the TV. Also we can smell cigarette smoke from next door all the time....

This CP Hotel is an extremely old establishment, and I have never encountered a hotel in such poor condition, especially in the Bagan area. My experience here was deeply disappointing. The service at the reception counter was unprofessional; the elderly staff member on duty could not understand basic communication and responded in an unfriendly and discourteous manner. The cleanliness of the hotel was also far below acceptable standards. The bed was very old, the mattress was sunken, and even the towels provided were dirty. Overall, this is one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in Penang. I strongly advise anyone reading this review not to choose CP Hotel as your accommodation. In terms of facilities, the hotel is severely lacking. There was no kettle for making coffee or tea, the electrical plugs were damaged and unsafe, and there was not even a small table for placing personal items. Even for a budget hotel, the condition of the room was unacceptable. The bed was in poor shape, the bathroom sink was leaking, and there were multiple issues throughout the room. For these reasons, I highly recommend that travellers avoid this hotel entirely.

The worst oyo concept hotel ever. Towel was old ones. No refrigetator. You can also hear someone laughing behind the wall
