The staff was overall very friendly and welcoming. I feel like I irritated the front desk when I had genuine issues: 1st room extremely noisy as early as 6am because of the staff and 2nd room with no internet connection which caused my kid to have a panic attack because they were looking for me and had no way to connect

The food was terrible. Found nothing to eat for lunch or dinner. I paid over 600 dollars for on night, was expecting something at least basic.

Loved the hotel, the pool, entertainment area, the beach, the staff, the activities. Loved the New Year's dinner and party. Loved the guests and overall environment and vibe. Food was very good, the activities were good but could do more to include teens. And I noticed the tv with announcements a couple of days before living, I wish I had noticed that before. Can improve on laundry facilities. I had a room that got no sun and couldn't get clothes dried. It would be nice to have access to a drier or washer. laundry services were way overpriced, like US$5 for one item. This is the one reason to give 4/5. Oh, and I didn't get my free items after the Viva Club presentation. =) Overall, a very good place that I would recommend and I would visit again.

The food was ok, but drinks? No, too much water added. Very good air conditioning in the rooms by the way

If someone writes a good review than probably they never been in good place. The rooms were dirty and outdated. First room smelled like septic, air conditioning leaking, tiles falling apart, no soaps,no hand and face towels, balcony opening horrible, gym old and smelly plus dirty. Women bathroom did not work. Limited meat dishes, one bar open and lines for ordering some drinks. Pool towels limited- sometimes afternoon did not have any. I would not recommend this place at all. Did not allow you to stay in the ocean even in the shallow water.

If I ever return here will be because of the staff they were super excellent everyone Petra from room services Eduardo Waldy Alfredo from buffet make you feel Like home excellent dancers make you enjoy Even when we call maintenance everyday to fix a leak in the roof but was never fix until we left he was nice is not his fault he didn’t have proper tools or time to fix the problem I am know the leak was every time someone upstairs was taking a shower so is the seal need to be replace or the drain tube Food was ok but need to be a bit upgrade all week only I was able to eat white rice and beans or lentil Not everyone likes smoke or bbq and soups were very terrible compare to the one in Mexico I was able to have soup everyday and a good one is either the chef or the food but food really needs upgrade from 1 to 10 I will score a 1 To let more people know ,or for us to be able to said is a great place food definitely needs to be change

My husband and I traveled 6 times a year. Although this was a last minute vacation. I would NEVER go to that resort again. Literally the same food everyday. For an all inclusive, we ended up dinning out everyday day. At least the restaurants ar the center was good. Never again, cheap pillows l, blankets...good luck

I’ve visited about 6 resorts in the puerto plata / sosua over the years and can honestly say this was the worst one. Upon arrival the front desk agent were friendly. When we got to our room it was not like the pictures that they advertised. I felt like the room was probably once a large storage room and they now made it into a room. We didn’t have all the average necessities like the towels and a hair blow dryer, they literally brought the towels about 2 hours after we got into the room. Electricity kept going off at night (no AC) Another thing if you need a safebox it’s an additional charge of 2 dollars ( not sure if it was per day or for the whole visit). The resort had two a la carte restaurant and one buffet type. Did not have time to try the a la carte restaurants but the buffet one was very bland and the options are basic. The weekend was horrible due to day pass visitor so the buffet did not have any plates most of the time it was not easy to find somewhere to sit. The pool area was okay. I personally avoid the beach area because every 2-3 mins someone was trying to sell you something which to me didn’t allow me to peacefully rest up at the beach. The entertainment staff was again not up to the standards of other resorts. They did maybe 3 activities ( game of Dart, sandbag toss and other small games ) did one little dance and that about it. I did not go to their showtime so no opinions on that. Overall it’s not worth it. I would not recommend.

This resort was horrible, the pool was dirty. The drinks were watered down. My lock on my room door was broken and coming off. The girls in the group I traveled with felt unsafe because the male staff made them uncomfortable along with one male staff who walked into the girls room at midnite with some crappy excuse and was laughing when asked to leave.
