Rooms could use another source of heat in the winter months it does get a little cold other then that no complaints, always welcomed here by the staff

The motel is just off Highway 1 coming into Cache Creek. It is an older motel but it's been updated and is quite nice in my opinion. A grocery store is across the street. If you're staying in town, be aware there are not many dining options, though everything is within walking distance. And the post office, if you need it, is sorta hard to access due to construction. The manager of the hotel is very nice; we had a nice chat about travelling.

When you are on a long road trip and you need a comfortable place to stay the night that is clean and the staff is friendly then this is the place to stay. I won't fool anyone by pretending this is a 5 star hotel, but what is available is clean and maintained well.

We decided to take an impromptu motorcycle ride, and decided to spend a night in Cache Creek. Our accommodations were clean, and we were upgraded to a “kitchenette” room. Would recommend a stay at the Sunset Motel!

Quiet place other than occassional rumble of trucks, number of food places and cafés nearby. Friendly staff.
I would have liked more pillows, and some bit firm as opposed way to soft..

The motel was clean and tidy but had various flaws; the toilet was for childern as it was close to floor (hard to get up from) and the shower head - my spouse had to kneel down so he could get his head wet as it was also made for childern.
There was no extra pillow or blanket in suit and the rooms were the smallest i have ever encountered making everything seem cluttered.

The hotel was well taken care of , the room was welcoming and comfortable.I enjoyed my stay a lot. Great service! I definitely recommend staying here.
