While the apartment wasn’t bad, the listing felt deceptive. I booked an apartment with city views and ended up in a ground-floor unit facing the hotel lobby.

Room was on the smaller side but clean and had everything I needed. The place also has a very convenient laundry room that you are free to use (I just wish there was laundry detergent). Easy to walk from here to the main attractions.

This family-style hotel has a kitchen where you can cook, which is quite convenient. Although it is located on a semi-basement floor, it is facing the street and is well soundproofed. It has a large bed and a small bed. Overall, it is very convenient. This hotel has four buildings. Usually, you can check in at three o'clock, but you can check in after two o'clock when the room is ready. There are many people in the town during the holidays, mostly Europeans and Americans. It takes ten minutes to walk to the beach, the vegetable market and the seafood city. It is a city suitable for daydreaming. Accommodation is still recommended. The front desk staff speaks fluent English and is very nice~

Overall, I felt that Cadiz was just a quick stopover; I didn't need to stay overnight. After traveling around southern Spain, I noticed the cities all had similar styles – a blend of cultures and religions. This hotel was very popular. When we checked in, they gave us a semi-basement room with a small, high-up window that made it difficult for me, as I have claustrophobia, to breathe. When we asked for a room change, the staff said they were full. Only after I mentioned having difficulty breathing were they moved to a room next to the front desk. We arrived before noon, and we saw other people checking in afterward, and they all had rooms available. Ctrip's hotel booking service is not very user-friendly; please, Ctrip, be more considerate of Chinese travelers.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is very close to the main attractions of Cadiz, you can just walk, and it is not expensive to take a taxi from the train station, 10 euros is enough. There are many bars, restaurants, supermarkets around, it is very convenient to eat and shop, and it is also very close to the central market. The reception staff are very friendly, the room is large and quiet, with all kitchen utensils, you can do whatever you want. Very satisfied, I will stay here again next time I go to Cadiz
