Watching the sunset over the sea from the beach club is an amazing experience not to be missed. The hotel facilities are excellent and every where is kept immaculately. Huge swimming pool and more than enough comfortable sunbeams for all guests. The Red Level Level Lounge is highly recommended for drinks and snacks throughout the day and also for a really good breakfast in a more private setting than the main restaurant. The buffet restaurant has a great range of food to choose from for evening dinner, however, the new Entrevientos restaurant should not be missed - fantastic meats and fish. All of the staff at the hotel were amazingly friendly and helpful. It was great to meet guest experience manager Beatriz who was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Also, Carlos in the Red Level Lounge was so welcoming and always smiling and supportive. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the sun, beach, and fantastic atmosphere of GM Sancti Petri.

I've got to say, this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The value for money is incredible, they have lodge style rooms, so ground floor level, walk in straight from your vehicle with your bags which I love, not having to schlep our bags through the hotel. The rooms are amazingly well equipped and very nice, loads of cushions, all you would expect from a class hotel and ours had a veranda with a table and chairs, then the extras, a Fridge, coffee machine :) with pods, great TV, great wifi, little toiletries and to top it off a robe and slippers (guess this was for the pool but too cold for the pool for me in January) The staff were very, very helpful, kind and caring, the bar etc is lovely to sit in and have a tipple, we didn't use the ****** as this was a work trip but we certainly would go back and stay again and maybe try the ****** :)

Front of house staff and domestic staff are all a credit to the hotel. A very wide range of food is available at the buffet restaurant and there should be things for all clients to enjoy. The pools are away from each other so that adults can enjoy the relaxing ambience of one pool whilst families can use the facilities at the busier main pool with an adjoining play pool for the kids. We spend 3 nights in this hotel. We wanted to visit Gibraltar for 2 days, but staying there was very expensive so this was a cheaper option. By car it took us 30 minutes to drive to the border of Gibraltar. The hotel looked grand from the outside. Like something from a Hollywood movie. The garden also was nice. But there was almost nobody. There were hardly any guests this time of year. It felt we had the hotel for ourselves. We even had to collect the key for the indoor swimmingpool at the reception to open the door. Inside the hotel and the room were not that grand or goodlooking. Especially the carpet looked dirty. Our room was ok, it was spacious but we don't see the 4 stars in it. The hotel is not in town center, it could be walked but the path was dark. We spend one night for dinner in the restaurant and that was the best experience. Just like breakfast the food was very good and the service great. Thanks to Alvaro for the personal touch! We asked for advice at the reception and we got friendly and good advice. A good plus is the free parking for our rental car.

I rated this 4/5 and the reason for this is that the breakfast was rubbish to be fair. Only a choice of orange and that was freshly squeezed but not to hand you had to order from the counter along with the coffee (no cranberry or apple juice) Not much of a choice at breakfast and waited over half an hour for a coffee. Other than that the place was very central and very clean, and I would go back but, next time maybe eat out for breakfast.

When we arrived before 11am, they told us that because we had advised of our arrival time (we just wanted to drop the bags to go visit Cádiz), the previous guests had left early and the room had been cleaned and was ready for us! I was amazed! I absolutely loved the style of the hotel - I chose it because of the photos online and it did not disappoint. The room was brilliant as well, practical, big, and all was very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful, we did not use the community areas but we wish we had (we only stayed one night). The location of the hotel is great for tourists visiting the city! I can only recommend this place to stay, and I will definitely stay there again on our next visit! (We left early this morning, 7am, we threw the key in the check-out letter box and then had a panic thinking we needed them to open the main door and get out but no, we could open with the switch, what a relief! Anyway just so you know and don't panic if it happens to you!)

Receptionist who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming and gave us some local information as it was our first visit to Cadiz. When booking we hadn’t realised this was an apartment hotel spread across a few buildings and it did feel a bit soulless. However it was spotlessly clean. The double room was basic but well appointed with sofa, tv, kettle, fridge and hairdryer. Bathroom looked quite new and had good shower. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Clean towels provided daily. We did have a few issues with noise as you could hear the shower and tv from the adjoining room and also guest leaving with suitcases in the early hours. Also quite a lot of noise from the street. Located in La Vina area so about a 10 minute walk to the cathedral. Close to La Caleta beach which was nice for watching the sunset.

The hotel is highly recommended. The location is very good, you can go to all areas of the old town; the rooms are large, with a large terrace and sea views. The overall design of the room is amazing, but many details designers are still inexperienced. The hotel's own breakfast is very good, standard English buffet; the restaurant can look directly at the Atlantic Ocean. Small details such as wash basins and towels are ill-considered; toilets are not separated from wet and dry, sliding doors are also fragile, and when there is a sound, it is easy to wake others up at night. The adjacent terrace is not blocked, it is easy to get up in the morning to see the neighbor lying on the bed, still watching you Ladies will love this type of room. The pool opens until 4 pm, so I missed it perfectly and left the next day. The restaurant downstairs is good and the price will not be much more expensive than outside

Lovely apartment in great location of old town area. We booked the penthouse apartment which gave us a private rooftop patio with furniture which was nice. The journey if you are driving is quite tricky when you enter the very narrow streets of the old town, but access to the apartments is very simple and we had paid via the apartment for underground secure parking about 100 metres away which was convenient.The apartment block is attractive and there is seating on the rooftop and a nice small reception area. Any staff we met were kind, welcoming and very helpful. Our apartment had a mezzanine with the kitchen/dining area up a small staircase and led out to the patio. Downstairs is an open plan area with single beds and a small sitting area with a tv. The kitchen is well furnished and we wanted for nothing in terms of equipment. There is free access to a washing machine and tumble drier with all washing materials free. There was also free access to additional toiletries etc which was another great bonus. The 2 single beds were comfortable enough but not luxurious. The apartments are in the old town area with very quick access to a beach area and a short walk through the old streets into the main town centre. There is a pretty chapel immediately next door to the apartments and a modern supermarket 50 metres away. There are bars all around and many used well by locals which is nice. I would say that there is a charm about the area with obviously many residences in the area for locals - it’s not posh by any means but you do feel you are living amongst the old community of Cadiz. All of the main sights are a short walk away. We loved our visit to Cadiz and Maier Apartments were a perfect location as a base. Our hosts were great and we followed their restaurant recommendations which were excellent. You will get lost in the narrow labyrinth of streets no matter how good your map reading is and anyway everything you want to see is frustratingly at times close by - all part of the fun😂 So glad we came. 😎👏
