Beautiful spot! Quiet area close to the beach. I definitely recommend staying here. The restaurant has delicious food.

My husband and I went to the Bananas restaurant at the cabanas algebra. The incredible hospitality and friendly staff makes this place truly special! The food is excellent too! I highly recommend going if you are in Cahuita.

I stayed here for 3 nights with a friend. We were greeted by super friendly hosts Andrea and Samuel and a welcome beer! The cabins are great, loads of wildlife around, there are amazing sloths who live in the beautiful gardens. The restaurant is also lovely and does a great breakfast. Andrea and Samuel were really helpful throughout our stay and we felt very welcome. It's a two minute walk to the local beach and a 20 minute walk into town although get a taxi if it's dark. All in all, a great stay. 100% recommend.

This is an underdeveloped masterpiece in the rain forest. If you liked Zona Hoteleria in Cancun you probably won't like this. I could stay here forever, but many people will say, "There is something icky on this log." Maybe you know who you are?

This is a terrific place to stay for a reasonable price. Google maps doesn’t have the address correct. When you get to the T intersection make a left and the property will be on your left hand side.
One recommendation for the owners is, have more then one towel in the rooms.

Like staying in the Garden of Eden! Extremely homey and friendly! The owner and her son were constantly available and looking out for our best interest. Only a few steps to excellent beaches. 20 minute walk to lovely national park. The owner is also an excellent cook and made some of the most delicious breakfasts I've ever had. I should also mention that when we arrived late, the owner and her son scolded the taxi driver for overcharging us and gave my brother and me bottles of local beer and pointed out the native sloth slowly working it's way toward the lamp post above the entrance! Just marvelous!

Wir waren nicht in der Lodge, sondern nur im Restaurant Bananas. Man spricht deutsch, man sollte Plätze reservieren, man kann gut essen. Die Speisekarte hat auch vegetarische Gerichte. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Jederzeit wieder.

ho soggiornato in questa struttura dall'11 al 13 agosto. Se dovessi tornare in Costarica mi fermerò qui almeno una settimana. La proprietaria, Andrea, è dolcissima e molto disponibile, così come suo figlio, Samuel. La struttura è immersa nella natura e si possno sentire i canti degli animali, dalle scimmie urlatrici alle ranocchie, ai millemila uccellini. L'ultimo giorno ci hanno mostrato anche 3 bradipi che stavano dormendo sugli alberi sopra la nostra stanza. Le camere sono grandi e pulite. La struttura esiste da diversi anni ed è ben tenuta. Il ristorante è ottimo. Lo consiglio a chi ama la natura e la tranquillità. Non aspettatevi un hotel, è più un villaggio con pochissime camere a gestione famigliare.
