Oaks Cairns Hotel

Very comfortable hotel with good location and big room! Good for us to take rest after all the outdoor activities

Facilities were modern, staff was friendly, location was optimal. The view was a bit misleading (the window doesn’t really have a view) but overall nothing to complain about.

Hotel location was good. But its seem that they charge extra for room cleaning.My stay was over a week and in the end room looks like mess.Later o cleaned myself. This policy should apply to those who lives for one to two days and if some decide to live longer hotel must provide cleaning and other facilities irrespective of their pre booking or not.

The service was helpful and efficient particularly Paul. The bedroom 100 was an inner one with no window as such. But there was a window to a wall with 2 plants hanging down. It was a perfect place to sleep a bit like a cave in a way perfect just to sleep. As far as I could see there was only one elevator coming and going also to the roof bar. So there was a wait here. Stairs would have been preferred. The restaurant was fine too on the top floor with excellent views. Location excellent with close proximity to the lagoon for swimming and of course the esplanade.

I stayed for 3 nights until I then went by on to my friends, this hotel exceeded my expectation for cleanliness and amenities it’s in a perfect location..
