A very average hotel, not a good experience, but at this price it is considered a cheap hotel in Cairns. The hotel does not have an elevator, but parking is not a problem.

I felt that it was a very good point that there was a railroad crossing of the Kuranda Railway nearby and I could see the train up close. Also, there is a convenience store nearby, so I don't think you will have any trouble living.

The receptionists were very nice, kind and polite. There was a pool in the middle of the hotel, and it was nice to be able to spend time watching the children having fun.

We booked this on the night of arrival. The office was closed, but the owner was very quick to respond. He gave us a late checkout, which was very welcome after a trying days travel. Good, comfortable sleep, and after checkout we were able to leave our luggage there. There is a noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the room needs some maintenance, but overall a good place to stay.

This place should not be called a resort it is one of tge worst hotels ive stayed at. No glasses,tiny TV.old cheap curtains,reception was closed at 4.00pm so nobody to greet you as you arrived,f/kin joke.A backpackers would be a better facility

I was drawn in by the price and the fact that there was little else available. The pool is nice but the rooms are dreadful- filthy ( see photos). The restaurant has been closed down by the health department too-don’t be tempted- you’ll be very sorry. I don’t think this accommodation should be offered to anyone at any price. Doesn’t deserve even one star.

We had trouble booking for a last minute medical appointment and Crystal Garden was unfortunately available. The $270/night room was filthy dirty. We opened the balcony door and there were dirty sheets and blankets lying all along the dirty balcony. the basin was cracked in the bathroom, the Laminex benches were stained. The air- conditioner worked well but wouldn't turn off when it got cool, so I got a blanket from the wardrobe and found patches of unknown substances smeared on it. This was rejected obviously so cold all night. The restaurant advertised was closed from August. This was not a good experience.

Offering free WiFi and a swimming pool, Crystal Garden Resort is 10 minutes’ drive from Cairns airport and 5 mins from Cairns Esplanade Lagoon. All room have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and air-conditioned. Cairns Crystal Garden Resort is 5 minutes’ drive from Cairns' shops and restaurants and Flecker Botanic Gardens and 15-minute walk from the Cairns Lagoon. Palm Cove Beach is 30 minutes’ drive away. The air-conditioned rooms feature a seating area and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room has an suite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Reception office hours are open from 10AM to 4PM on Monday to Friday. 10AM to 2PM on Saturday and Sunday. If you can not check in between the office hours, we will send you the instructions via mobile phone message, just follow the instructions, you can easily to get the key in our safety box near the reception door.
