Arrived late afternoon Book in OK Unit described as sparking clean IT was not Found room intially Ok returned to room then notice the floor thoughout the unit was dirty and sticky ended up wearing shoes in the rooms Bath and face towels were gray and smelt (lucky had washine machine and tumble dry so washed them) also washed the tee towel witch smelt of sick Killed 4 cockcroaches over the time the sofa was dirty and lifted the custions chasing a cockroach found the sofa very dirty covered in mess Toilet was leaking water into bowl constantly Sink was cracked Lamp shades and artifical flowers covered in dust No oven as in description out early the following day and late back reception was closed The swimming pool was very dirty and un inviting Marks on the walls states refubished in 2024 no chance

Nice place to stay They are always friendly when I stay here, it's close to nice restaurants and the city, great waterfront. walks not far

Friendly and well-located self-contained apartments/hotel rooms a short walk to the Esplanade and close to cafes/restaurants. I received a very warm welcome despite arriving after-hours, and my hotel room was large, comfortable, clean and quiet, with a balcony. The lap pool and pool area is a wonderful sun trap in the morning, and if you don't have your own pool towel you can rent one for $2 from reception. This family-run hotel is a real find away from the tourist *****, and I'd highly recommend it if you're after a no-fuss, comfortable and quiet stay in Cairns.

Nice clean apartments, the staff are really friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the esplanade took about 10mins but if you want to be in the thick of things pick something else. The pool was cold and small. Mainly just a lap pool. Not great for teenage kids, although the bbq area beside the pool was great for cooking up dinners. 2 bedroom 2 bathroom was actually interconnecting 1 bedroom apartment and a studio. Still suited out purposes fine.

Enjoyed my stay

I arrive to find the owner meeting me at the door with a welcoming smile. After a little bit a saw to my horror that I was in a "twin" code for single bed. He then explained he called the travel agent three times to find out if this was a mistake. With no response he just went a single male traveller would want a king bed and promptly changed the booking prior to my arrival. Service like that will mean this is my hotel of choice when working in Cairns
