I know this is a “budget friendly “ place, but I expected it to be at least clean! It was not. Kitchen drawers were broken and dirty inside. Crockery and cutlery dirty, We had to wash everything before we used it. Some glasses were Leo chipped on the edges. Oven was dirty also, so we didn’t use that. There was mould on the ceiling in the bedroom. The aircon was also dusty, mouldy and smelt when turned on. There was only one face washer provided for 3 people for a week stay. The pillows were flimsy and soft, when I asked reception for 2 more I was told “ there are 6 pillows for three guests “ and “ some people like floppy pillows “ We went to Kmart and purchased our own pillows. The bed covers that were in the cupboards were also not clean. Holes in all the fly screens so there were midgies and mosquitoes getting inside. The whole place needs a good clean and scrub. Would not recommend this “budget friendly “ place to anyone.

The room was very tired, broken kitchen drawers, there was mould on the ceiling of 2nd bedroom. Pillows to flat and requested a couple more but was told there were 2 pillows per bed & 4 for the double bed. So we had to buy an extra couple ourselves. Probably won’t stay there again.

The manager had attitude, room was ok but just barely air conditioners only worked half the time. It seemed dirty so probably was. Pool’s was filthy. Not happy will never stay there again

We stayed here for one night because we had an early flight out of cairns . My daughter was swimming in the pool she was getting photographed and filmed put a complaint into the owner he basically said it's okay that's allowed to happen they've only been in the country for a few days. The owner is extremely rude and came knocking at our door at 10:10 p.m. and wake everyone up. I have reviewed on their website owner put his reply up which I've attached screenshot but he has since taken it down which will give you an idea of the place you staying at . Stay away from this business

Run down. Poorly maintained, It’s don’t cost much to put in new equipment. The microwave door handle is broken, electric fry pan looks like it from the 80’s and has no teflon Left on it, beside dirty before we used it. The steel wood is old and dirty come on it’s like $1 to put a new one in for each new guest when your paying over $120 per night surely you can put a new steel wood in a room. The manager isn’t friendly and it seems like he doesn’t want to be here. Asked a simple questions about local area and just got look at the board and walked away If we had our time over again wouldn’t stay here. We come back every two years for 1-2 weeks.

Very flexible check-in, but the apartment was in poor condition. Both patio chairs were broken, the walls were dirty, the bathroom floor was not clean, there was a short in the bedroom light, the bathroom fan was very noisy, and the top of the refrigerator was dirty/stained. We had planned to stay 4 nights, but we were not comfortable staying more than one night. Host said all we needed to do was to let him know and things would be fixed, and blamed the condition of the apartment on the fact that a long-term rental had just vacated. He took no responsibility for booking us into an apartment that clearly had not been inspected to ensure it was in good condition. Putting the blame on us for not requesting repairs was ridiculous. I expected a clean and functional place upon check-in, not one that would need work throughout our stay.
