As a four-star hotel, Cala Bona is generally good. The external environment is a plus, especially since it has a swimming pool inside and is close to the sea. It’s really not too beautiful when you open the window in the morning. I really enjoyed my trip to Mallorca this time, with a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery, delicious food and beautiful people!

Be prepared to be split up from your extended family and that could mean an apartment block some 6 minutes walk away from the main hotel. The main hotel has a lovely swimming pool but bear in mind if you are in the furthest away block you have to walk through the streets in your swimming costumes. Also you will have to walk a good distance every meal time. So not ideal for pensioners. We were separated from my son and his wife all of us have the same surname and the same booking so why didn’t they put us in the same building wasent aware of these things when we booked. Still I’ve given it a 3 out of 5 mark.

My family and I had a really nice time staying at this hotel for 12 days! Everywhere was lovely and clean, around the hotel and also our rooms! We stayed in room 312, our maid was the friendliest lady! If I was being really picky, I would say the floor in our room needed mopping/cleaning a little more regularly, it wasn’t a massive issue to us! There were always clean towels! The air con was great! The fridge was a definite must too, with no extra cost, as we were in a superior room. Reception staff were friendly, always happy to help with any queries! An English lady working at the hotel was especially friendly! I didn’t get her name, unfortunately, she booked taxis for us and was always happy to help. I do think an ‘hello and a smile’ goes a long way! One lady at the reception was very stern but I chose not to ask for help the days she was working! All the restaurant staff were amazing, so friendly, always made time to say ‘hello’ with a friendly smile 😀 Food in the restaurant was always great at breakfast, such a wide selection to suit everyone! some evenings were a little repetitive and not to my taste, but without being too picky, there was something for everyone! Lovely desserts and salad, meats, soup and much more… The pool area definitely became more busy while we were there! The pool being quite small became a little overcrowded at times! Now to the pool bar! The lovely Claire and Pablo make this place! 😃 The friendliest two (mum & son)!! Always smiling, chatting to all the guests and also working very hard!!! Credit to them! They deserve some recommendation ⭐️ I have stayed in Cala Millor/Cala Bona for many years, it’s our first time at this hotel, we will definitely return!! I can see why so many guests return year after year!!! Always evening entertainment! Bar staff friendly in the main bar! All in all, a great stay at a lovely hotel over looking the beautiful harbour!!!

Great entertainment at this hotel. Food is good. Rooms could be better. No air con in May so it was quite uncomfortable at night.

Lovely and clean in a great location. We had a superior twin room for myself and two teenagers. Our room was in the same building as the restaurant and pool so was very convenient, also quiet at night. I would assume the rooms facing the harbour are much noisier. Our room was clean and modern. Pool area was lovely, nice pool bar with friendly staff. There was always available sun beds. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but the dinner buffet was not to our taste. Nothing wrong with the food, but I think would more suit the older generation. Overall a great hotel, would come back.

This hotel is my new favourite place to go, I will be definitely returning. From the food to the staff everything was wonderful and I found the reception staff so helpful and felt that they would help you with anything that they could do. The only thing is it is more suited to adults than children but not having children with us that didn’t matter.

Cala bona/cala Millor is like a mini Benidorm, it’s over run with brits abroad. I am a Brit but I don’t want to holiday with them in masses! I don’t mind the cheap shops that align the streets, or the cheap bars, I didn’t particularly like the beaches, the small one in Cala bona smells of drains and the main big beach was over crowed and this isn’t even the school holidays yet. I would hate to be hear two weeks from now. We took an amazing trip up calla ratjada which is a much nicer place, seemed much classier! More Europeans than Brits, more upmarket restaurants, beautiful little beach and harbour. Very nice.

Its been a few years since we last stayed at this hotel. We found the new dining area has made a great improvement from what it used to be. The food is well presented, fresh and good quality. No assigned seating - you sit where you please. The bike storage room is a delight with an airline for tyres, e bike charging points, a designated bike wash area with hose, bottled water in the fridge and towels. The superior room we had overlooked the pool. It was always spotless on our afternoon return. The only criticism would be that it was a little on the small side. It was a little on the tight side getting between the unit which housed the fridge and the bottom corner of the bed. This being said, we have already booked for our next holiday here in October !

Just come back from a week at this hotel. This year's trip was brilliant. -hotel staff from every department are fantastic, they all work so hard and make you feel so welcome and are so friendly. - For Half Board the food is plenty full and i always found it hot and well cooked. - We stayed in. Standard Sea View room and it was so clean when we arrived and throughout our holiday, the balcony was AMAZING could not have got a better view. - there was always entertainment in the main hotel bar with some great bands from Take That, next of kin ( rock band) and many more. Great drinks selection in the bars I had Mojitos and the sangria. Tourist tax for the week was 43 euros We also hired a fridge 25 euros for a week. - went to the gym for the 1st time here I found it a bit small BUT I did find it did the job for me with a good weight selection. We are definatly returning next year.

Our 2nd visit to this beautiful hotel this year. Once again everything was top class. We had a room once again in the Pergola block which we have stayed in several times over the last few years. Unfortunately for the 1st time we were kept awake until the early hours from the Bar Norai next door. Absolutely nothing that the hotel could do about it and will not stop us returning. Food was lovely as usual and staff amazing. Spotlessly clean everywhere

Hotel was very clean. Disappointed no shampoo, conditioner or shower cap. 4 star hotels usually provide these. Would have helped as our luggage was sent to wrong destination. Staff were very friendly and are a credit to the hotel. At 61 my partner and I at one point seemed to be the youngest at the hotel. I'd say over 70s majority. Lovely pool but not big enough to swim. For 4 days the music played was 50s and 60s which drove me up the wall. Wasn't until Monday they played something more modern. Food was good. Not a huge choice but I always found something to eat. Bands on a night were all good. Seating at front of hotel nice but drinks expensive (if you're from North) 8 euros Bacardi and coke. Didnt think it tasted like a double . Cala Bona beautiful place. Harbour at front of hotel. You can walk to Cala Millor and even further Sa Coma. Bus stop round the corner. Buses a few euros. We got bus to Porto Cristo, Sa Coma. Manacor. First time in Majorca and we loved it. I think Cala Bona the best place from what we saw.

The pictures of a family room are very deceptive, taken without a third bed in the room and not giving a true sense of space. After speaking to people who have been here regularly, getting a superior room is key. In reality, without an upgrade there's very little space. We were promised an upgrade 4 days into our 2 week stay, which would cost us £350. We would have paid that but on the day we were told it was sold out. Suddenly though a free upgrade became available which was never an option originally. I'll never stay here again and I'm not confident that this is the last of my issues. I've stayed in other hotels locally in Cala Bona and imo they are worth it over the Cala Bona as the customer service is far superior. In credit the breakfasts in the Cala Bona are fantastic but every other meal is severely lacking. Ultimately a disappointing stay and what feels like a waste of money. I feel like my money would have been better spent in another hotel. Locally and with other options there's only a few hundred pounds difference between hotels. We had initially booked from positive reviews but maybe they hadn't been through the teething issues that we've experienced.
