Gavimar la Mirada Hotel and Apartments

The whole experience was excellent. All staff were great and efficient. Great quality food and drinks, particularly considering quality cost ratio. All common areas, and room continuously being cleaned. Definitely a place I would like to repeat next year.

We have stayed 8 nights all inclusive here with 3 girls 17, 11 and 5. We have all really enjoyed it. Lovely size 2 bed apartment. Spotlessly clean, including communal areas, pool and dining room. Staff are pleasant whether reception, cleaning, waiter, waitress, bar staff, entertainment staff or chef. Whatever their role they work tirelessly to ensure safe, clean enjoyable stay. Thank you for looking after us so well. Our apartment was rooftop height and had a fabulous view of pool and stage, a lovely atmosphere. My five year old loved the mini club and mini disco. She learned new dances very quickly. It helped her confidence. My 11 year old enjoyed pool table, pool, slush and poolside snacks. I enjoyed mini club as it allowed me an hour uninterrupted on lounger! 😂 Food consistently good and varied. Lots of choice, cooked and presented well. Big thank you to all such hardworking staff! 🙏

Pros: - close to the beach - functional air conditioning - room balcony - fish dishes every day Cons: - old and bad managed - ants - poor menu ( same breakfast every day) - poor cleaning - salty running water from the tap If you have £400 extra choose another hotel. I don't know how people give 5 stars, honestly. Pictures will speak more. I would give minus 5 stars review. Fortunately we rented a car to visit the surroundings and did not need to stay there but for dinner and sleep.

I sit writing this review as i wait for my transfer back yo the airport. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here ( 1st was just me and my partner 8 years ago). Again staff veen amazing and friendly. I want to focus on the entertainment team (Animación team) they are so welcoming from the minute we arrived Micheal was getting us involved on the 1st night we did man v women and what a laugh that was. It gets everyone talking together which I love. The team work there socks off practically 24/7 everyday. Pools are lovely there is a nice little pool at the top and a bigger one at the bottom. Food can be hit and miss but they have to accomodate every cusine. Good thing about all inc was the snacks at the pool bar are burgers, fries nuggets etc so great for the kids. Hotel is in Cala Ego which is a lovely resort and it is only a short walk to a beach cove. Would I return again with my family? Yes we would. Thank you for a lovely week La Mirada.

Just back from a great 10 day holiday. This is the 2nd year we have stayed here and yet again we weren't disappointed with this 3 star hotel. Plenty of choice at mealtimes and food freshly cooked. All staff in the hotel were friendly and worked so hard to keep up with demand. Could do with more sunbeds and less tables and chairs around the pool area during the day as this was chaotic. A special thank you to Michael for keeping everyone entertained day and night, he worked so hard at getting people involved and was often running the entertainment single-handed, well done Michael! The hotel definitely need more staff for activities. The rooms were basic but cleaned daily so this did not affect our stay. In the centre of cala egos with shops, bars and restaurants, we loved Yates. Just a short walk to the beach, about 20 mins to the marina, 6 euros for a taxi to centre of cala dor. We would definitely consider returning.

Myself and 3 fiends have just returned from a long weekend here and had an amazing time. Good bits- 1. Staff very friendly and accommodating- they switched our room for us and we wanted a private balcony and the original one had a very open one which fed into a communal area. 2 .great location- 5 mins to beautiful cove, 15 walk to stunning marina, 2 min walk to souvenir shops and supermarket. Beach is small but gorgeous. Marina full of stunning boats and fabulous restaurants and bars. Yaya was particularly nice. Cocktails were amazing 3. Hotel clean with maid cleaning room daily, providing fresh towels. 4. Pool - warm and clean. Not so good bits 1. Food. Breakfast was OK , good enough for what we wanted but basic. Dinner looked poor- unappetising and poor selection. We ate out every night. I would definitely recommend this hotel, if you’re not a foody or are willing to eat out. Perfect for girls trip.

We have stayed here twice this year 2023, A very friendly hotel, all the staff were great, tutu ,Eddie , Christian all of them were brilliant. Manager very friendly and gave you his time to talk to you , the sun beds on the terrace could do with replacing but we always managed to find a decent one, Location brilliant for beaches and the marina , we will be returning in June 24 and September 24 already booked ! , looking forward to seeing you all again.

The animation team was amazing, really made my family’s holiday better with activities and they really went above and beyond in their roles. We stayed end of September into October and the animation team was Lucas, Bregje and Vicky. They brought fun and enthusiasm to every activity, I did things I’d never done before and played games I’d never even heard of like shuffle board, which was fun and engaging. The animation team got everyone involved in activities and helped to build connections with fellow guests. They did a great job, and I was very happy with the animation teams efforts and enthusiasm.

Lovely hotel food was lovely 3 star hotel have to remember staff where great would definitely return we had absolute fabulous time as family thankyou ♥️ entrainment was ok had much worse rooms where clean and good size lovely area of cala d or pool cooled you down as it should beach gorgeous never disappoints will return next year ❤️
