I get it… reading some of these reviews, you get what you pay for at the end of the day. But I don’t fault our stay my girlfriend and had a fantastic time! Chilled and relaxed! I will come again with the kids I think they’d love it… see you again club Cala Romani

Rooms are basic but clean and fine, however it's lacking facilities such as a kettle cups etc which i did read before hand so took a travel kettle with me, problem solved! It's a busy place, and the pool area is huge with plenty of sunbeds and loads to do for children. We didn't experience any rudness from staff and the check in was quick and easy. The transfer as stated is long so expect to be the last drop off, but coming back it was an hour less. The cups for drinks we didn't have a problem with as we actually thought it was a good idea and helps keeping the area tidy as the staff were always so busy. All soft drinks such as Pepsi and slushes were help yourself which is a great idea. The food was fine for the few days and plentiful but I think after a week I would of been sick of it. Again it is what is is typical all inclusive. The location is brilliant and it has a pathway to a gorgeous little beach cove, and at the front there's a great selection of supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants with some brilliant nightly entertainment if you fancy a night out from the hotel. We had a meal out which was lovely. Cocktails outside of the hotel are lovely. It's a perfect little family area and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'm a big believer in the saying, that it is what you make it so just chill and enjoy. We didn't have any real major issues that I could say that was majorly bad though about this place at all, and I did enjoy my time here so I would return.

Club Cala Romani First and foremost we had a fantastic holiday here. This is a 3* hotel so do not expect 5* The complex is quite large, with a lovely pool area, childrens play area, tennis and football courts (on concrete) and a basketball court. There are also pool tables and table tennis (you have to purchase the bats and ball in the shop approx 5€, you will also find a path leading to the beach. Reception and lobby area are spacious, there is an area for you to leave your cases on departure. There is a lovely outside terrace area to sit in the evening with access to the bar. The double rooms sleep 3 they are small, dry basic but clean, No tea/coffee making facilities. The main dining area is a good size. There is a snack bar serving hot dogs, burgers, toasties, nuggets, chips, bread rolls, salad, ham, cheese, pate, wine, water and juice, no machine for Pepsi etc. Also a late snack room which again serves cheese, ham, pate, breads, cake, wine, juice and water. Staff … all staff were pleasant, all work hard Positives … large complex Lovely pool area Clean Large dining area Very near to the shopping centre, were there’s plenty of bars/eateries, shops and a little children’s area where they have crazy golf and some little attractions. We found the food ok, always something to eat, plenty of fresh salads, fruit, meats and desserts. The soup and paella was lovely. We had a coeliac/gluten free child in our party and the kitchen staff were brilliant in making her pasta and pizzas. Negatives The pool although lovely needs totally refurbishing, lots of tiny tiles are missing on the bottom of the pool. Bar … the queues are extremely long. You have to queue to return cups and get your tokens, unless you want to carry dirty cups around, this really needs addressing, you spend most time queuing, not enough bar staff. Rooms and bathrooms could do with a total make over, and some little toiletries adding. This hotel as the potential to upgrade to 4* it’s in a fab position and as plenty of space. Sun loungers could do with being replaced to recliners, the existing ones are very uncomfortable. We did not really see the Animation team, they never walked round asking if you’d like to join in any of the activities, everything was done via a display board and microphone, no banter no atmosphere. I’ve never been to an hotel where the animation team don’t come around the pool to try and involve you in the activities? Lastly the lifeguards, wow, three life guards on duty all sat together on their phones laughing and chatting. I did report this. So I hope the hotel management look into this. They have a policy of no floats (lilo’s) however, the odd one or two was in there, and the large donuts. If you make rules then the lifeguards should adhere to them. Overall we had a lovely holiday, just remember it’s a great 3* hotel in a great location, I would defo recommend this hotel for families … be aware check out is 10am not noon like most hotels in the are

Hi late in writing this review we had a fabulous time here, me and my two daughters, the weather was esp hot for beg of October but the staff were great esp Marianne who stood out as going above and beyond on my daughters birthday - we had a cake brought out in the restaurant by head waiter - I found all the staff lovely and approachable - but guess it’s how you approach others 💁‍♀️. The entertainment was brilliant - loved the greatest showman night the most - was always able to get sunbeds. The beach is gorgeous and great for snorkelling - we did eat out a couple of nights in the town as we were wanting to do some shopping, it’s only a 5 min walk and something for everyone, if you want to go on a family holiday, where you can connect with family, great value for money then this is a lovely place and we met lots of families that are repeat customers - we will defo be back when wanting a quick getaway in the sun ☀️ I truly believe the staff go over and above to deliver a service higher than 3 star, the ones I met were all dedicated to the service industry - and if ur reading this Marianne, I was Scottish lady with two girls - thanks again for all u do to make holidays special ☺️

Cheap and cheerful break in the sun. This is a 3* hotel but it is clean, well looked after friendly hotel. The food is typical all inclusive which means there is something for everyone to eat. Best part about the hotel the staff at the pool bar Ana especially she is absolutely delighted always I understaffed but always friendly and will always put a smile on your face.

The Good: The room rates are cheap here. Its all inclusive, you wont go hungry or thirsty. Snack bar all day Huge pool and kids pool. Plenty of sun loungers. Good entertainment all day and night. The rooms are clean and good sized. Air conditioning in rooms Wifi available if you need it (at cost). Close to a town for shopping and dining. Close to a beach The bad: The swimming pools are falling apart. Loose pool tiles are plentiful. No splash area in pool or water slides No inflatables allowed in adult pool Sunloungers cannot be set to a position. The food is very basic Cups you need to hire (refundable) TV remote you need to hire (refundable) Receptionists are rude (most of them) Wifi is chargeable per device. All drinks must be from washable kids cups Only 2 drinks allowed per person at any time. Accommodation blocks are like council flats. Conclusion: If this is all you can afford, then come here, you will be fine. Its cheap here, you will have a good holiday. This is not a negative review. I would come here again if this is all I could afford. But there are much better 3 star hotels on the island and you can get much better. My biggest concern for this hotel is the state of the pool. It is in poor shape, its incredibly old and it needs re-rendering and retiling in its entirety. The pool looks like a patchwork pool where it has had patchwork repairs over the years. It needs a complete overhaul, the tiles are loose and could cause injury. I give this hotel 3 stars and this is very fair indeed.

I'm guessing everyone has read the reviews for this hotel.. I did and was definitely surprised when we got there, lovely hotel! It's 3 star but covers everything you need for a family vacation. Me and two friends went for 4 nights and I was the most worried however I was completely wrong. I've only ever stopped in 5* and well I can't complain about this hotel at all! Food - salad, chips rice, paella, fish, beef, pork etc. My friend was a vegetarian and we enjoyed the food every night. Snack bar is toasties, chips, burger, ice cream. Deserts were lovely, I probaly over indulged myself! Shops - 4 minute walk, different shops, goat mini golf (Yes, you read that correct) bars too eat and drink if you wish. Beach - Beautiful clear water, clean beach situated in a cove. There's boat trips, sunbeds at 10euro to rent (we didn't) paths to walk along the coastline. Entertainment- Great for kids and abit of fun for the adults. We did water aerobics and Water polo was super competitive but great!! Staff- Lovely and friendly everyone we saw said hello and were happy to help us with anything! Room - Views of the hills are lovely we were in 2319, perfect apartment room as the sun settled all evening on the balcony. We had issues with the key card but the staff helped to solve this quickly. Clean and beds were okay. I'm not a great sleeper after the 3rd night my back was hurting. Pool- Lovely clean and big! Sunbeds are not comfy, we took our pillows down a few days to help Transfer - We had a nightmare with our transfer through onthebeachtaxis on the way there but in a smaller transfer took about 50/60 mins. On the way back we were fine. I'd think about a transfer before you go if you're due to be on a large coach! Altogether cheap and great holiday. Offers everything with amenities close by and enjoyable.
