The beds and bedding were nice here but the rest of the room and hallways were a bit worn out. Air conditioning worked fine but was in an odd location (over the entry door, down a hallway from the main part of the room). Laundry was self-service and there was a long line waiting so we didn't get to use it. Nice location very near the thermal baths and walking distance from restaurants. Decent overall, and qualifies as upscale lodging on the Camino.

Stayed while on the camino way route. Clean and tidy hotel for one night. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Food was OK and there is a supermarket opposite if you need water for your travels. Lovely little town to wander through in the evening.

We had a clean, basic but well designed room in this hotel on a main road just outside the town centre. The room had two chairs and a Juliet balcony we could sit at with interesting views of the street and buildings. The location is good with a supermarket just across the road. This does mean it can be noisy but we enjoyed people watching. Dinner was downstairs in a rather unappealing basement restaurant. (They were playing Pink Floyd as background music - Comfortably Numb anyone to ease your digestion?) However the food was excellent, I had a huge bowl of proper Galician broth to start, chicken and proper potatoes (not the usual chips you get everywhere in Spain) to follow and a good dessert. I'd stay again just for the food. Breakfast was also good. The room's wifi was intermittent but we enjoyed our stay, especially the food!

We really enjoyed our stay at O Cruceiro in Caldas de Reis. The staff at the front desk welcomed us warmly and efficiently. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The shower was hot. The breakfast buffet was filling and substantial, especially appreciated as we then set off to walk to Santiago de Compostela. The hotel is an easy walk to the center of town, the main church, the river walk and the botanical gardens.

The hotel was located three or four minutes from the centre of town, but only two minutes off the Camino route on an extremely busy road. Happy to report that the wifi reception is perfect given previous negative reviews. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast next morning was buffet-style and extremely plentiful with all the usual items.

Wir waren als Pilger unterwegs. und für ein" Ein Sterne Haus" hat es allemal 5 Sterne für das Zimmer und den Service verdient! Wir haben uns hier tatsächlich wohl gefühlt, hatten genug Platz, und ein wirklich Gutes Frühstück! Caldas de Reis ist nun kein Glücksfall für die Erde. Hier schläft man als Pilger und zieht weiter! Es sei denn: Man geht im Restaurante Termas essen.

El alojamiento muy bien,la recepción fenomenal,nos trataron muy bien .el unico problema,que no lo hubo fue la barman es una despota que no sabe o no quiere tratar bien a los clientes.No se puede contratar a una trabajadora como ella a mi me trato con muy mala educación, ni si quiera te mira a la cara y no solo me pasó a mi.Una pena porque el hotel genial
