Reviews of Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa

The stay was okay, however there were a few details that unfortunately let it down. Our room was very dated and the bathroom tiles were cracked and overall it needed some attention. Breakfast was average however 45 before it ended there was very little left and it didn’t appear that things were being replenished very quickly. We had an early dinner within the bar area and my partner was happy with the Nachos however my pea and mint soup was very flavourless and the bread of my sandwhich was stale which disappointing for the cost.

On the second day, I went to the reception and explained the situation regarding how his colleague had handled my booking. The receptionist was understanding and informed me that I could simply move from one room to another without having to check out and wait to be checked into a new room. This made the process much smoother and highlighted that the inconvenience I experienced the previous day could have been avoided with clearer communication.

Spa facilities a little tired but Spacious bar area and nice rooms with comfortable beds. We were unsure as to whether breakfast was served on a Monday as conflicting information. But would recommend a stay as good value for money.

Had a really good stay with family. Breakfast was good, staff in dining area were friendly and professional, delivering excellent service. Reception staff could improve on making guests feel welcome. Overall, a nice experience at the hotel.

Good stay. The pool area is quite small and not the cleanest so wouldn’t give it 5 star. Handy that the lockers were free and free towels provided. Would’ve liked a dressing gown. Room service was quick, hot, and tasty. Customer service was lovely but quite slow on reception. I would definitely stay again!

A returning visit to this lovely hotel and as good as ever! ALL staff friendly and attentive, hotel very clean, lovely cosy rooms, brilliant food and the swimming pool, Spa very welcoming, we will be back!

Nice hotel and the buffet breakfast is really worth it.

Check-in was easy and smooth. The hotel smells amazing and was clean. I found the bed very comfortable and made use of late check out. Had some drinks at the bar which wasn't too busy, plenty of seating and good service. I'd stay here again.

Nice comfortable hotel with great spa

Everyone was so friendly even though i arrived at midnight. My room was lovely and my breakfast in the morning was also great. Thank you so much
