Clayton Hotel Cambridge

This hotel is super close to Cambridge train station, with plenty of supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants nearby, making it incredibly convenient. What's even better is that there's a bus stop right outside, with routes directly to Cambridge city center. The hotel itself is very new, and the lobby is beautiful and elegant. The room was spacious, clean, tidy, and well-designed, and the daily housekeeping was excellent. This was definitely the best hotel I stayed at during my trip.

The environment here is superb. It's very close to the train station, making travel incredibly convenient. The room is spacious, clean, and tidy. The front desk staff member was also very helpful and nice. I'll definitely book here again next time.

The room layout and service were very satisfying. The breakfast was decent and sufficient. The location is excellent, just a 3-5 minute walk from Cambridge train station and a 30-minute walk to King's College (for girls). Along the way, there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, shops, bubble tea, and ice cream parlors. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Cambridge in the future.

This is my second time staying here in Cambridge, and I'm just as impressed as before. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated. I really appreciated the complimentary Nespresso capsules and cookies. It's super close to the train station, and about a 15-minute walk to the city center. Plus, there are supermarkets and fast food places nearby, which makes everything really convenient.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise and a highlight of our UK trip. I booked two different room types, and my friend was also very happy with their stay and got some excellent rest. The breakfast was delicious and definitely worth trying.

Modern, elegant

Clean and tidy, the front desk staff were warm and provided excellent service. The facilities are complete, and it's very close to the train station, making it super convenient for getting around.

The room was too small, and the service was terrible. The service phone was never answered, and I requested a hairdryer multiple times, but it was never delivered. The fire alarm suddenly went off twice in the middle of the night. When I asked the front desk the next day what happened, the front desk agent showed no apology and only said there was smoke on that floor last night. The room didn't even provide water, and many amenities were missing. Very disappointed with Holiday Inn!

The breakfast was excellent and delicious, with a wide variety of fruits, yogurts, and more. I was very satisfied with it. However, on my last day, when I checked out and needed to store my luggage, the front desk attendant was busy with something else. I was in a hurry to catch my train, but they didn't help me retrieve my luggage promptly. I found the front desk attendant to be very inflexible; they could have been more accommodating and helped me with my luggage first, especially since I was rushing for my train.
