Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope their business does well.

A great Apartment in a quaint town close to the fantastic national park Peneda Gerês. This apartment is extremely well set up and has a great kitchen, a comfortable double bed and good airconditioning. Well loved the small stone peasant village of Campo do Gerês with its grapevine street shade and quaint stone houses, food storage buildings and a couple of small bars. It is a great place to hike and explore the nature this Portuguese national park has to offer. We especially liked the rapids and bathing walk that starts at the border of Spain

Tiny, dark (one very small window), musty/damp. Advertised washer and dryer and did not have it. Smallest bathroom ive ever been in. Would not recommend.

Lovely Casa in the village of Campo do Gerês. The Casa had everything we needed and was warm, excellent shower and comfortable bed. The village was extremely peaceful and had a great shop In Natura where we purchased excellent food for the whole stay.

Aconselho vivamente a visitar e a ficarem hospedados nesta casa .... Os colaboradores são super atenciosos... Desde a viagem .. demorei mais tempo que o esperado em chegar ao destino e o colaborador a única preocupação foi que chegássemos em segurança.... Estava tudo limpo e organizado.... A higiene do espaço os utensílios estavam todos 5 estrelas.... Espaço bonito e muito acolhedor para umas mini férias... Uma experiência para voltar certamente...
