This is our 3rd time visiting this hotel and we can’t fault it! We stayed for 9 nights with our 4yr old and 2yr old. We got a garden view room and this was perfect for us! The food was fantastic as usual. So much choice. You would really struggle to not find something to suit you. We ate at the buffet restaurant every night and we ate at the pool bar every lunch. Great service! Special mention to Manuel who has been here every time we have visited and makes such a fuss over the kids- he’s fantastic. Our 4 yr old used the kids club every day and the animation team were amazing with her! Cannot recommend them enough. Special thanks to Pepe, marta, valentina, aneta and Carlos. Everyone was truly wonderful and they work very hard. Our kids loved them all! They actually remembered us from visiting in May and were delighted to see the kids again! The pools are great, we never struggled for a sun-bed- even in the middle of the day there was plenty available. Lots of pools and lots of slides so something for everyone. Will definitely be back for a 4th trip!

I’ll let you read the other very extensive reviews about facilities etc. they are far more thorough than me. My adult daughter and i stayed from late Aug to early Sept, we had an excellent time. Yes the room could do with a freshen up but you just sleep there right! We never had an issue with loungers, always found some thing scrummy to eat, we are both diabetic. Didn't suffer ques anywhere, at bars or food. A la carte was fantastic we had beef and chicken skewers. Obviously i can’t comment on kids facilities but they all seemed to be having fun. I had an air conditioning issue which was sorted within minutes. There was another issue that the hotel is looking into but its nothing to do with them or their staff. Special mention to Daniel at pool bsr who bothered to learn my name! Don’t be getting any ideas, im ols enough to be his gran. Mossies are a problem, and the floors are deadly when wet no matter what your age. I would go back no problem
Response from Property: Dear Pamela, We appreciate your kind words about your stay at the Zafiro Can Picafort and are so happy you have arrived home with good memories of your holiday. We are thrilled to hear that your stay with us was an enjoyable one. We are delighted that you and your daughter found comfort in our amenities and were able to enjoy the variety of food options suitable for your dietary needs, alongside the ease of finding loungers and experiencing our a la carte dining. It's also heartwarming to know that our staff, particularly Daniel, made a positive impression on you. However, we apologize for the inconvenience you faced with the room's current state and the air conditioning. We understand that these aspects can impact the overall experience and appreciate you bringing them to our attention. We also acknowledge your concern regarding the mosquitoes and the slipperiness of the wet floors. Your safety and comfort are of utmost importance to us. Finally, we are glad that despite these issues, the joy and fun atmosphere for families, as well as the efficient resolution of your air conditioning issue, contributed to your willingness to return. We hope to have the occasion to welcome you back to Zafiro Can Picafort where we continuously strive to improve for our valued guests like yourself. Best wishes, We hope to have the opportunity to see you again very soon in one of our Zafiro Hotels. With our kind regards, Maria Fornari Zafiro Can Picafort, General Manager

Really great hotel and location. Only a 15min walk to beach and shops. We were all inclusive, hotel was amazing, pools are great, always managed to get sun beds. Food was great. Only thing about the food is during the day between meals the only 'snack' available is ice cream. Some crisps, nuts or something would of been nice. But that hasn't put me off staying at a Zafiro again.
Response from Property: Dear Christophersu, Firstly we would like to thank you for the time you have taken to value your experience after your recent stay in our hotel. We are thrilled to hear that your stay with us was delightful. We are pleased that you enjoyed the comprehensive all-inclusive offer, the variety of pools, and the convenience of always finding a spot to relax in the sun. It is wonderful that our culinary selection met your taste, offering diverse and delightful flavors at our Caprice Buffet Restaurant and La Palapa Pool Bar. However, we understand that having more snack options available between meals would enhance the dining experience. We value your suggestion and are looking at ways to include a wider variety of snacks to please our guests throughout the day. Nonetheless, we are glad that you found our hotel's location to be ideal, just a short stroll away from the beach and local shops. The tranquility of our location, coupled with the close proximity to Can Picafort's charming center, makes for a perfect balance during a family vacation. We hope you will consider us again for your next holiday on the island and that we can surprise you with the quality standards for which we are renowned to allow you to return home with great memories of your well-deserved holiday. Our kindest regards, Maria Fornari Zafiro Can Picafort, General Manager

We stayed for 10nights as a family of 4. The hotel is big with 8 pools. Each block has a pool next it but then the main pool in the middle. The hotel is spotless around the hotel. The rooms are not as dated as it’s made out. We had a penthouse roof top which was fab. If you wanted to escape the chaos you could. The entertainment team are brilliant. All inclusive was good but wouldn’t say amazing. You can eat at the bistro bar which u order off a menu. Or buffet restaurant. The food was amazing first 5days then pretty much went down hill. There is no kids section for food. So my little one ended up eating pasta n pizza everyday. There is no music around the pool area. I don’t expect it to be blasting but would have been nice to have back ground music instead you can just hear pure chaos. The entertainment team would come to main pool put music on get everyone up in the spirit but the moment they finished the atmosphere went dead as music is switched off. They do the running mat in the pool everyday and water aerobics. No water polo or other activities in the pool. So I wouldn’t say it’s 4* but it’s more than a 3* I did really enjoy it and so did the kid only purely because of the entertainment team. I’m also unsure if it was worth what we paid. The La carte was really nice. It’s at the bistro. They set the tables nice and champagne arrival it was a nice touch. The bar staff are very attentive and work really hard. We went just before may half term and it got busy towards the end. So I honestly couldn’t imagine in high season. Ppl saying pools are chilly but everyone is different I personally don’t think they was unbearable I brought wet suits for the kids n they didn’t wear them. The splash area for the little ones I stopped using because I noticed more n more kids with chicken pox. Which they didn’t have on arrival. One parent tried to pass it off as mozzy bites her little girl was covered. Just thought it was a bit naughty. Overall the holiday was good this isn’t a good or bad review just honest. But again everyone has a different opinion. Spoke to others at the hotel that also said the same about the music and their kids just eating pasta. And that there expectations was higher.

We paid a holiday to a 4 stars hotel and we found out that was not like in the pictures. The pictures from the site must be updated.

Family friendly hotel for all ages. We felt welcomed from the moment we checked in at reception. Room well maintained, clean and spacious. Housekeeping were unobtrusive and friendly. Wide choice of food to good standard. Buffet dining staff continually clean and tidy so there is always seating at a clear table. Plenty of sunbeds and pools to choose from. There are popular areas, but as it is a large complex, there are quieter sunbeds/pools if preferred. At check in, we were issued with a bracelet which was more stylish than the standard ‘All-in band’. This was handy as it worked as the room key and charge card so we left wallets in the safe. The only part that could be improved is the issue of sunbed towels. The bracelet tag deals with everything except you get a paper docket to collect your sunbed towels and will be asked for this by pool staff. All staff are friendly and hardworking, and I would recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at this fantastic hotel as a family of four with our four year old twins. This hotel was outstanding in almost every respect and I’d have no hesitation in highly recommending it. It was probably one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in with a dedicated, large team cleaning all areas daily. The animation team were a particular highlight - very engaging, happy and full of energy - exactly what four year old twins need! The kids club, plentiful animation team led games as well as having its own play park complete with bouncy castle and football/tennis area combined to offer the ideal amenities for young families. We stayed all inclusive and the selection and variety of food was great. The hotel even left a nice bottle of red wine in the room on my birthday. If I had any feedback I’d say a heated pool to help counter the occasional overcast days when the temp drops a few degrees would be beneficial. We definitely intend to return soon.

Overall a fantastic experience. Some minor quality of life improvements such as air conditioning consistency, TV signal (maybe an upgrade at least for suites), and fixing the jets in the Relaxation pool would have made it a perfect holiday to unwind.

We are still at this hotel and booked it around 2/3 weeks before we came. We are 3 adults and 1 infant, booked with TUI on an all inclusive basis with flights from Manchester for just over £2k. Rooms - we booked a premium one bedroom apartment and we are in block 5. The rooms aren’t premium, they are average but clean and comfortable. Our double bed however is 2 single beds pushed together so our toddler couldn’t stay in bed with us… the hotel then charged €4 euro per day to hire a travel cot, something I’ve never known before with an infant booked onto the holiday… this is something the hotel should look into changing being a family friendly hotel. Pool area - the pool area is great, one of the best points about the hotel! The bubble in the water keeps the kids entertained all day and the baby pool has lots to do, our toddler loves this. The pool bar is also great. No trouble getting sunloungers and again clean and comfortable. Entertainment - we aren’t really an ‘entertainment family’ but you can tell the children loved getting involved with this and the team work so hard. There is always something going on at night and this morning there has been kids yoga, amongst daytime activities etc. Food & Drink - if we were to stay at this hotel again, we probably wouldn’t go all inclusive. The drinks are great (actually quite good branded drinks on AI) however the food doesn’t have much choice and could be a bit better in terms of quality, but was pretty standard for an AI buffet. We went to the a la carte too and this was much much better, we really enjoyed this meal! The daytime food at the pool bar also seems much better, we enjoyed this option too. Also the staff at the pool restaurant in the daytime are superb, great service and really friendly! We have also headed into c’an Picafort, this is great and worth a visit. Lovely restaurants and quite lively with bars and shops etc. this was around €7 away in a taxi. We have had a lovely last minute holiday to the Zafiro and would return if we were to find a great deal for this. However, there are a couple of pointers, such as the charges for the cot, room refurb etc that if they changed this, the hotel would be so much better and we would be keen to return.

Nice rooms. Good bed. Arriving guests after 23:00 kan be heard quite good (rolling suitcases or children crying). One time snoring neighbour. However managable. Large pool, great for kids. For young children 0-2 year the water might be a bit cold. Food buffet is good and wide variety of choises. Friendly staff Daily entertainment for kids. We head a great stay and would stay again.

Great first week until they lower the air con power. Hot stuffy room. If you like a room to be 22 degrees or less. Dont go here. Everything else is fine, but a confortable room is one of the most important things. I dont think they care as long as they have your money.

We had a lovely holiday here in August with our family. We had two Ground Floor One Bedroom Apartments with terraces which were spacious and well equipped. The double bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The aircon worked well and the room was well cleaned by housekeeping. The resort is well looked after and the pools were great. There was a bit of an early morning scramble for sunbeds, which you have to play along with if you want some. There was an excellent selection of food and drink in the buffet although it was a bit manic at peak times. Our granddaughter has a number of allergies, but liaison with the chef meant she was well looked after. The small mini-market on site is well stocked if a little more expensive than outside of the resort. The staff in there were extremely helpful translating ingredients to ensure they were safe for our granddaughter. The resort is uphill from the seafront but a 10 minute stroll down a gentle slope will find you at the Aldi supermaket and a 5-10 minute amble through shops, bars and restaurants will see you at the beach. The only downside was the mozzies. The two children didn't get bitten, but despite using a combination of wristbands, sprays and repellents all four adults got between 10 and 20 bites each over the seven days we were there.

On surface fantastic Hotel! HOWEVER entertainment was ONLY for infants even later in the evening…. Only 2 x 1 hours in whole week was there music for adults. Very very disappointed. I’m not a party animal but do like to have entertainment to watch on holiday … a show about a man blowing bubbles for an hour didn’t do it for me. Also a quiz at 10pm put a damper on the night before all entertainment closed at 10.10pm every night! Restaurants and bars are about 10 min walk away. Toilet facilities CLOSED FOR CHILDREN at children’s pool , in fact no toilet facilities at any exterior area so had to walk across to other buildings ! Not good!!! No toilet facilities in either restaurant again so had to leave the buildings and go to a completely separate part of the complex … no mean feet when you have people to look after. Meals Ok but often cold so thank goodness for the provided microwave. Buffet Very very noisy in buffet. Having to walk about 30 yards from one end of buffet to the other caused me some issues especially when bread at one end and butter at the other. Did very much the same food all the time. However the pool restaurant was the opposite experience… quiet but only lunch included in all inclusive however it was served fresh to the table. Again a long walk to the toilets in another building.
