The staff were friendly and they offered extra breakfast for ramadan. The room was tidy and clean but the air conditioner was not heating so well and noisy.

The hotel is in a narrow street in town but not far from the waterfront, and convenient for restaurants. The room was adequate and quite comfortable but a wider duvet would have been good. Excellent shower. Breakfast was in a separate building across the road.

Unfortunately, this hotel gave us the worst experience during our trip to Canakkale The hotel didn’t appear clean, and the towels were stained. The toilet was not functional for all three of us, as it couldn’t handle multiple uses in a short period. When we called the front desk, we were told to wait 20 minutes every time someone needed to use the toilet, as the water couldn't reach the pipes on the 5th floor. It’s worth noting that we had booked the room for three guests. The cleanliness of the hotel was not up to standard, and we had to wait 48 hours before reaching Kusadiasi to take a proper shower. After a long day of travel, not having access to a shower or toilet when needed was simply unacceptable. The bed was incredibly hard, and with our jet lag, we were up for most of the night. We had to sit up on the bed because the mattress was unbearable. This hotel fails to meet the basic needs of guests, and we are baffled as to how it has good reviews here. we would rather pay more for essential amenities (like a working toilet and shower) than ever stay here again. The only saving grace was that it was a one-night stay, but had we arrived earlier and been more rested, we would have sought alternative accommodations. This hotel was booked for us as part of the tour package we had, worst setup ever. Avoid this hotel if you read this.

We got a very nice welcome in this hotel, the rooms are small but clean. The location is great, close to everything. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room also a safe. There was lots of noise from the street until midnight - there was a party going on locally to our hotel. There was a good shower, with a rain shower head which unfortunately was too big for the shower cubicle so the water gets all over the floor or the bathroom Minimal toiletries, no shower cap, no conditioner Breakfast - was ok, reasonable selection of cold meats, cheeses and some hot food, but no fruit..

We have stayed for one night at this hotel on our way to Fethiye. The first shock was the dirty and tight street where this hotel is located, with garbage dumpster in front of the entrance. After checking in we tried to take the elevator but got blocked in it, it was not working properly. In the room the fridge door was not closing, there was cigarrete smell all over, the additional bed for kids was broken, the room was not tidy and the mattress was moldy. The very small terrace door , once opened, could not be easily closed after.

Very poor quality hotel vs price. Room not clean, noisy location, the terrace door was not closing properly and there was “kofte” smell all over the room. Fridge was not working, the so called shower gel in the bathroom of lowest quality ever seen.

1 this is the worst hotel and service ever. I have been trading for years and this the only time I felt a review was required. Rude staff when asked about why room was so shabby. Wouldn't let my worst enemy stay there. Lift hardly worked had to go 1 at a time.

We stayed at the Grand ANZAC as an overnight on a Crowed House Gallipoli and Troy tour. The reception staff are friendly, helpful and several speak excellent English. The hotel itself is pretty tired and in need of a refit but within the constraints of that the rooms are clean and spacious. Aircon was all good and the bed was very firm but not bad. The shower deserves a special mention as it is a glorious high pressure cascade from a full size rain head. The buffet breakfast has a good variety of simple Turkish and western options and will apparently also do omlettes to order. The only real downside is that the neighbouring bars/cafes are pretty noisey and unfortunately the sound proofing isn't great

This hotel rated 5* based on a 3 star rating. The room was clean and more than adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful in particular Emin Erdalaan. He made travel arrangements from the ferry in Bandirma to the hotel. He also arranged for the Gallipoli tour company at the end of the tour to drop usoff at the ferry for Gokceada. He has also arranged a pri ate mi I us to take 7s back to Istanbul. Marvellous and beyond the call of duty. Thank you.

We arrived at about 10 pm on 26 May 2024 and the reception desk required the keys from our car to park it. They also require the key to stay with them until we leave, so that they can move the car if necessary (in order to accommodate more cars if little space). On the next morning, upon departure, we received the car with two damages: 1) scratches on the right rear door and fender and 2) a punched right rear tyre. When we asked why was that so, the answer was that “something must’ve been on the way”. The hotel did not offer to cover any of the expenses neither to take is to a car repair. It is fair to say that they called a car repair because we could not have been able to explain the situation in Turkish. Other than that, the hotel is clean, but rooms may be very noisy since they are very close to bars and cafes. If you happen to stay at this hotel, make sure parking and safety are properly arranged.

I stayed here 1 night on an Intrepid tour. The room was standard although the air conditioner remote didn’t work so I had to climb up on the bed to use the controls on the fan unit (up at the top near the ceiling). Breakfast was the typical Turkish buffet.

Stayed overnight with a group tour on the way to Gallipoli. Hotel is in need of care with badly stained carpets, uncomfortable beds and very lumpy pillows. Rooms also had poor sound proofing, so I could hear the alarms going off non stop in other rooms from 3.30am. Shower was good and included breakfast ok.

The pillows were not the fluffiest but they were more than adequate. Check-in was easy. The room was clean, tidy and had everything I needed for a 3 night stay. There was water in the mini fridge. The A/C was a blessing altough it would have been nice if it went a little lower than 18 degrees. The location was excellent, right in the centre of Cannakale, great for the shops, harbour & restaurants. House-keeping were on it every morning and the staff were very pleasant and engaging. Breakfast was more than ample, with traditional Turkish and a variation on continental options. The only downside I can think of was the music coming from across the rear courtyard which continued into the early hours. Closing the windows helped with the sound. This hotel is part of three, if you are thinking of booking go for this one as I believe it to be the best of them. There is the Comfort & the Anzac. The Grand is the best of the three and the price was very good. I think it was £24 per night for B&B.

Hotel is located on,y 250m from ferry pier. Central to shops, restaurants and waterfront walkway. We had room on first floor which was quite noisy as you can hear the noise fro restaurant and reception. The room was roomy, bed comfortable and a/c worked well. Bathroom a tad tiny but that is what we have found in most of the hotels we’ve stayed in Turkey. Another common theme is the strong cigarette smell coming through the a/c vents. Breakfast had ample selection and check out was 12pm. The reception area was very well air conditioned so it was extremely comfortable to hang around while we awaited for our pick up. Staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful.
