A beautiful farmhouse in a gorgeous setting away from the hustle and bustle of life. Only three rooms and the owners are most accommodating. We were served a lovely breakfast. There are multiple outdoor seating areas to enjoy and a pond that youcan walk down the hill to where there are chairs to relax. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.

It’s a beautiful quiet location perfect for visiting the lakes and wineries. Restaurants in Canandaigua are very close. Gerardo’s cooking is gourmet and he is one the kindest people we have met.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the chalet. Melanie was super accommodating and offered numerous suggestions ond activities we could explore during our stay. The Lee Suite was large and cozy including a spacious en-suite bath. The best part, however were the fabulous meals that chef Gerardo prepared. Each b'fast was different and amazing and were custom prepared to meet my wife's challenging dietary restictions. Gerardo prepared a special anniversary dinner including lamb chops from Melanie's farm and many other fabulous side dishes and a special bottle of his favorite wine from Spain. We got to meet Melaie and Fernando along with several of their children - all were wonderful to talk with. If you're looking for a special, relaxing get-away with unbelievable meals this place should be at the top of your list - you won't be disappointed. Bob and Cynthia

Wifey and I spent a few days here in mid October 2025 for our 30th anniversary. We were the only people here the first two nights. It was very quaint, cozy, private, quiet and off the beaten path compared to other FLX options. Also, Gerardo (the chef and innkeeper) is one of the nicest, kindest and personable innkeepers we’ve come across in decades. Plus he makes AWESOME breakfast! Adam & Shelley

Great spot to relax, have an excellent breakfast, nice conversation, and a great location for trips to Rochester (Geza Theater and the MAG), Naples, Canandaigua, Cheshire, and all the other little villages of the FLR. The Chalet was clean, quiet, and relaxing. We will be back in the summer months.

Finding this location for my healthy beverages workshop was an answer to prayer. Fernando and Melanie were kind, helpful, and thorough in their communication leading up to the event. The attendees were in awe of the beauty of the kitchen. The layout of space was absolutely perfect for the needs of the event. I can't say enough positive things about how this property and its owners brought enjoyment to everyone involved in the class. My very high expectations were met in every way. See you again soon, beautiful Chalet :)

We rented all 3 rooms a few days before Christmas for a pre-holiday family get together. Greeted by Melanie and Gerardo we felt incredibly cared for and welcome. The Chalet is a magnificent property, an elegant and modern log cabin with amazing character. Each bedroom was unique and luxurious. The common spaces in the building were large with great views and lots of seating. Gerardo made extra sure the fire was going in the living room. And what amazing breakfasts he prepared! Melanie was so warm and helpful. She gave us great suggestions for restaurants in town, and even used her "influence" to get us a last minute prime-time reservation on a Saturday night at what turned out to be one of the best German restaurants I have ever eaten. The restaurant was super fun and comfortable and believe it or not, very vegetarian friendly. Our brief 2 night stay was memorable and delightful, and we look forward to coming back again soon.

Amazing stay! We had an absolutely fantastic time at The Chalet. The accommodations were superb and the hospitality was unmatched. Melanie made us feel so welcome and the breakfast was incredible, made fresh with local ingredients by a superlatively-talented chef (Gerardo). We will definitely be back! We highly recommend The Chalet for a romantic getaway or a family event. 5 stars!
