Very clean - staff very helpful and very friendly- always smiling!
Very accommodating when we returned late from an excursion - and we were not ready for our dinner reservation - gave us 30 minutes to change and make it back which was very welcoming after a long day out
We asked about the VIP perks but were offered another hotel tour with benfits which we weren’t really interested in at the time of arrival.

As a VIP ******* member we received an upgraded room to an ocean front honeymoon suite. The room was a super large with a big jacuzzi tub. We also received an extended checkout time until 2pm. Be aware the $120.00 resort credit is a bit of a scam. The food was excellent in all 4 restaurants, but if you are here for a week, with only 4 restaurants, you'll be going back twice to some..we didn't mind, but if someone is here for longer than a week, it might be an issue. The beach is fabulous; clean, white sand and fun waves to play in. If you walk down to the south end of the beach there is a little cove where you can snorkel. The resort has three pools. The best pool is reserved for the Palace Diamond members, the pool next to it is in the shade for most of the day. The third pool, the largest is the activities pool, which is loud and has limited seating. We spent our time on the beach which we loved, but if you are a pool person, this resort might not be your best choice. The staff and service were all excellent. Overall a nice experience.

We loved our stay here. Everything was perfect. It was my husband’s birthday and they gave him a bottle of champagne and a piece of cake. We were very impressed.
What we didn’t like was the Fuego restaurant. The food was not very good and unfortunately my husband got sick from something he ate there. The Italian restaurant was very good but they should be playing Italian music in the restaurant I think, for ambience.
We’d like to return next year for a longer visit. We like the VIP idea but not sure we’d do it again

My wife and I had an absolutely incredible stay at Sun Palace and only wish we could have stayed longer. The staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the facilities are everything you need for an all-inclusive stay away from home. Plus the app lets you book everything you need from your phone. Each room has incredible ocean views, and each of the restaurants had great food. Highly recommend going to Trattoria for the Ossobuco, it was tender and fell off the bone.
Only downside was that you’re unable to book restaurant reservations on the app before you check in, and each restaurant requires a reservation for dinner. Some can squeeze you in your first night, but we weren’t so lucky and instead ordered room service, which was delivered quickly and was quite tasty.
Already checking our calendars for when we can get back.

Amazing service, great staff, good mixture from young couples to the blue hairs. Each pool had a different scene and energy. Only advise, like all resorts, they’ll try to up-sale you on everything, and check what the resort credits can be used on and for before agreeing to any pitches

You did feel safe. It is not walkable to anywhere, but we did feel safe going on our morning walks. Dining options are limited and food was only average. Italian restaurant on site was awful. Wound up eating room service that night as nothing they served was eatable. Other restaurants were okay, but not world class (as advertised) by any means. Fun place, lovely beach.

This was just what I needed - lounge chairs by the beach and the pools, cold drinks, and good food. I was at Sun Palace for 5 days before Christmas and had a great stay. My room was beautiful. Everything throughout the resort was spotless and attractive.
