We had a wonderful time at the Whispering Palms resort. It is in a great location, close to the beach and the shacks but with the life of Candolim nearby too. Our room, 306 was nicely appointed, and quiet, with a sunny terrace to relax on overlooking the gardens if not wandering across to the pool. There was a good variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, especially if you enjoy the Goan specialities, my wife did find the food choices more challenging, particularly as the European option in the evening was invariably based on beef, and still with spices added. The quality of the all inclusive drinks was good and served generously. From the moment we arrived every member of staff was so friendly and helpful, everyone from the cleaners all the way through to the Managers. It is difficult to pick out individuals however Tom, the violinist, Dora, Nagesh and Champa made a notable impression on us. We would have no hesitation in returning in the future.
