O Hotel Goa, Candolim Beach

This hotel is one of the best hotels- everything from the cleanest rooms to the friendliest staff. Lal and Anthony were extremely helpful and kind, they catered to what we needed whether it was breakfast or dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Pretty useless and arrogant staff!! No courtesy shown while talking to guests. This hotel has lost its entire charm gone to the wrong hands of ***agement. I wish this is seen by the GM and she tries to rectify before it goes from bad to worse. The foreigners seem to be given more weight age and preferences on requests. The rules change on an hourly basis, one thing that’s allowed today may not be allowed tomorrow. Be careful when you book in this hotel and get everything in writing ……

Absolutely horrible experience staying here. We stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe room with a balcony. The balcony is merely a very small triangular area with the wall touching the Santana resort. The rooms are very ill maintained and have poor amenities.We had to upgrade one room to a suite which is a big room but sadly very poor amenities as well. The tub had a broken tap and due to some maintenance the tub water was muddy for 2 days. Rooms look old and not at all worth the money. Breakfast spread is very ordinary with hardly any choice. The service at the restaurant was also disappointing and slow. Some of the waiters were not even aware of what was on the menu. The pool was again disappointing. There were guests with t-shirts and tracks in the pool. Despite complaining to the pool attendant no action was taken and the pool attendant was extremely rude. Pool side bar is name sake and the bartender is not even aware of what goes in the cocktails. Room service was slow and we were even charged for an ice bucket( I don't know if any 5 star charges for an ice bucket) Overall a very disappointing stay. The property claims to be a five star property but I don't think it's even deserves a 2 star. For the same price you can book much better hotels. A few positives, Deepa, front desk ***ager at the reception was very helpful. The resort is a few steps away from the beach. There are ***y shacks on the beach with good food. Close to quite a few restaurants in North Goa.

Amazing stay. Stayed with my partner for couple of days. Very clean and hygiene. Pravin on front desk in night was amazing. He helped me to find my missing head rest. Few things were not good like in room dining takes 45-50 mins to get food even in day time and bar is not 24 hours. If people come to stay there they are obviously on holidays and want to enjoy. The person on bar he is new and has very low communication skills, tried to scam me with beer bottles. I took 1 bottle and he charged me for two after rectification he write down a note on bottom of page the correction and next day while settling it that page was torn and missing from there which is like scamming people. I dont know his name he said he is new here from konkan. Rooms need ventilation in bathroom there is none. Food at Fish Hut outside on beach is amazing best food. I was on my holidays and enjoyed it.

It was my first visit with my family I enjoyed my stay at The O Hotel.Excellent Property with very good service. Awesome location connected to beach. Food is also good. Friendly and professional staff at Front Desk especially Deepa ,Sandesh and Omkar. I would like to recommend to my friends and relatives.

Excellent property with very good service. Located right next to the beach with private access to the beach. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is also good, although due to ***y guests, the breakfast time was a little crowded Good value for money

Overall property is decent with very good rooms good furniture and decor (4plus). Maintainance (4 ), Swimming pool (3), access to beach (4) We were a group of 15 couples who had booked through travel Triangle with whom we had faced lot of issues regarding confirmation of booking. However once we reached the property the reservation payment re-conciliation was not raised. However the ***agement is rigid and inflexible to routine requests regarding duplicate keys (Chargeable we were told), Serving tea in garden area instead of restaurant, discount on alcohol provided by hotel (nil) , etc. (2plus) Shacks in vicinity benefited from the Hotels recalcitrant attitude as our business of drinks meals were are these shacks one of which Palms & Sands deserves to be checked out.

The staff and service at the hotel were excellent! To mention a few names, Sandeep at the front desk, Narasinghe , Surojit, and Dinesh in banquets , Hansraj who helped with luggage went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We were a group of ladies and the hotel was very safe . Situated very conveniently for access to beach and shopping , I would recommend this property to anyone going to Goa. One suggestion I have is to offer more local food options for meals .

Hotel looks nice in pics but when we visit it's totally different need to renovate and staff were pathetic ask for salt to sudhir in break fast said go and take yourself in so attitude however in I visit in multiple hotels the staff were so polite and even serve in your room also not recommended.
