Creekside home with hot tub within 30 mins to Asheville

The home was very warm and clean when we arrived! Very easy to get to, The roads were all plowed and salted so you don’t have to worry about driving a 4WD.I had some questions mid-visit and the host was very responsive. Over all no complaints and I would definitely book again!

We loved our stay! The home is very clean and welcoming. There were touches of Halloween all throughout the home to make it feel festive. The space was very relaxing and just what my husband and I needed to get away from all of the business of life. The host was easy to contact. I would love to bring my family back for a vacation.

We so enjoyed this little property! Close enough to town to get what you need while being quiet and secluded. The house had plenty of space and activities for the kids. Super clean and friendly host.

This is the seventh time in four years I have stayed in this house. I have had four mother/daughter retreats and three trips with a friend. It’s a clean, comfortable house, stocked with everything you need. The location is quiet and peaceful. Heather, the host, is wonderful

The Creekside home, was a home away from home. Very family friendly with game room, great sounds of the creek and located nicely to enjoy several nearby towns. The home was very well equipped. Heather, the host, responded quickly to an inquiries.

Our stay at Lickskillet was awesome. We got the full experience of mountain living, while also having everything you could want indoors. Our kids loved getting to listen to music on the record player, too. A really nice weekend for us all.

Thumbs up! This is a great place to stay, just a few miles off US19E.Very comfortable, nicely decorated.We loved sitting near the creek and cooking s'mores in the firepit.There are beautiful views from the house.Many hiking trails in the area are still closed, due to damage from Helene. But it's an easy drive to the Laurel River trail (we recommend it) or to Asheville.

We loved our getaway! Great house for a couple or a family. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Lickskillet house. A nice getaway with lots of relaxation. We also enjoyed our visits to the little town of Burnsville! Hope to get the opportunity to return some time.
