No problems, though be aware there is no reception of any sort. Parking is hit or miss, be prepared to park a few hundred metres away. One needs to be able to negotiate stairs (may be an issue to some).

Staying at São Lourenço Guest House in Madeira was truly the highlight of our trip. The property is stunning, peaceful, and spotless, with everything thoughtfully arranged for comfort and relaxation. It was very clean and the property manager was friendly, speaks only Portuguese but used a google translator so all was good. It is located on a steep road so it was tricky turning in or parking. It was a fun adventure entering because you are given a series of codes to open doors to go to your room because there is no reception. You need to drive for groceries.

Aangenaam en verzorgd gastenverblijf
Mooie, nieuwe en nette, verzorgde locatie. De kamer was wat aan de kleine kant maar dat werd ruim goedgemaakt door het gemeenschappelijke zwembad. Ook was alles aanwezig in de keuken. De badkamer was ok maar er hing regelmatig een sterke rioolgeur. Het parkeerbeleid was onduidelijk. Toch geraakten we onze auto gemakkelijk kwijt.
