This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The tiles of the bathroom floor were completely lifted off exposing mold from water damage and the moment we walked in, the end table that was screwed into the wall broke off. None of the TVs worked properly. Also, there is absolutely no smoking allowed on the property, not even on your own patio, so if you are a smoker, you will have to go through a long hallways and parkades to get to the outside lobby area. Plus trying to enter back in through the outside doors to get back into the building didn't work, and they told us they were having issues with the pass code doors outside. It was such an inconvenience and we will never stay there again. I never write bad reviews but this hotel experience was a whole different story, and to pay for a bad experience was worse!

Suite was fine but the water in our ensuite shower never got hot. We had 3 families and specifically requested that 2 of us be close but they didn’t get the right 2 families despite being very clear on our wishes. We gave the names. One family was in another building and it was not easily accessible

Our stay was good. Unfortunately there was no mention of the pool and hot tub being under construction and of course reopening the day we leave.
The 2 bedroom was perfect for our needs.

The suite was amazing , everything was great. The elevator needs some maintenance since the door jams on every floor and you have to push on it to get it to open.

During our Recent (Nov. 30 to Dec. 1, 2023) one-night stay at the Solara Hotel, the temperature in our room remained below 14 degrees Celsius; only at the end, the front desk manager told us that the heating system had broken down, something they did not warn us about when we arrived. In the room, although large and spacious, one of the doors connecting the main living room with the bedroom was out of service; the dishwasher was not working and, to top it all off, neither the pool nor the hot tub were functioning. But of course, we had to pay the full price for a stay that left much to be desired. When we reported all this situation to the reception gentleman, named Oscar, he told us that he was going to talk to the manager to give us a discount, and that he was going to contact us to notify us. We never received his call nor did we receive the offered discount. It was a terrible disappointment to have selected this hotel to enjoy a night as a couple. Definitely, I do not recommend i

The property itself was great, our room was not cleaned properly, there was hair in the main bathroom tub, and candy wrappers and hair ties in the main bedroom as well as some dust bunnies around the couches etc.

Stay was decent. Comfortable beds, nice spacious bathrooms. Lots of hanging and storage place for clothing and gear.
I was disappointed with some stains in carpets. There was no pantry to put our groceries so everything was piled on countertops. The blinds were broken so we couldn’t open and close them. Some outlets didn’t work to plug things in.
