Reviews of ABode Canterbury

I recently stayed at Abode Canterbury and overall found it to be a very satisfying experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome at reception set the tone — the staff were courteous, professional and genuinely helpful, which made checking-in effortless. The hotel’s location is outstanding: right in the heart of Canterbury, with major landmarks, shops and restaurants all within a short stroll

This hotel is in a good location convenient to visit the famous tourist attractions.  However the bathroom is so tiny you can hardly turn around or space to put personal toiletry items.  There’s no Do not disturb sign, we got woken by by cleaner knocking the door around 9 ish very annoying.   Will not recommend this hotel.

Nice central location, staff friendly but breakfast was very understaffed so took ages

Most people visit Canterbury for a day trip, so there are very few decent hotels in town, almost no options. This one had an impeccable location and excellent service, but it was just too old. Booking through Ctrip didn't include a breakfast-free option, which even the hotel receptionist found strange; there are so many good restaurants and cafes in town, why insist on eating at the hotel…

It is right on the high street, very convenient for sightseeing, and any tourist attraction is within walking distance. The appearance of the hotel still has a sense of history, and the restaurant in the lobby also has a unique flavor.

The town is beautiful and the location is very convenient. The lobby is also beautiful. The room facilities are a bit old and the lighting is a bit dim, but overall it is still very good
