Beautiful city boutique hotel with fab staff, creative culinary offerings and stylish industrial look rooms. End the night on their rooftop bar with one of their amazing cocktails! Well done!

We loved this hotel! The rooftop is absolutely stunning! The daily breakfast or beyond expectation. Not just a gorgeous setting, but the food and presentation was some of the best in the world! Great location, beautiful rooms, and excellent service! A great place to stay and hub out of while seeing Cape Town!

A truly great find for the last 3 days of our Cape holiday. The obvious choice would have been to stay around the V&A but we gambled on being in the centre of Cape Town. The access is not 5 star but once you arrive at the roof bar lounge restaurant and pool deck you won’t be disappointed. Service with a smile and delicious menu combined with a delightful room really concluded our top top holiday. Thanks to all.

The vibe of the downtown area changes completely at night and there are lots of sketchy people around, so the valet parking right outside the hotel was such a nice bonus. The hotel is gorgeous and I appreciated all the little touches like the yoga mat in the room for example. We loved having breakfast on the rooftop every morning and every single dish was excellent! There was an issue with wifi for a few days and I was impressed with how the staff handled the inconvenience. Special shoutout to Nadia via email! Also there was a waiter (I think his name was Dan or Dave?) who offered to write out all of his recommendations for us, which I thought was so sweet and kind of him! Lusanda, Nic, and all the valet parking staff were so wonderful as well. Incredible customer service!

Beautiful hotel, great location, nice restaurant at roof top. Very spacious rooms. Pleasantly surprised, we got a 1-bed room suite with a kitchen and a long couch. Very unique, with a 2nd floor concert hall. Also tons of restaurants nearby. Love it

Fabulous stay in a very spacious 2 bed suite at this really good looking hotel. All the staff - every one - were incredibly welcoming, cheerful, friendly, professional and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our 6 night stay. The rooms were spotless, and had great amenities, including real china cups and saucers and loose leaf black tea. Amazing ! We loved GiGi on the roof for breakfast and dinner, and even had some room service a few times too. The food is excellent, as are the cocktails. Fresh, healthy, very generous, and everything served with charm and smiles. Whoever recruits at this hotel is doing a fantastic job. The pool is small, but very good looking, as is the sundeck, but, in our time there, there was never shortage of space or beds. This is a city centre hotel, so if you want a "flop and swim" holiday, this isn't the venue for you. The only downside to the hotel was the noise, a woman sings outside from around 11 - 6 each day, and it penetrates the double glazing, and it's just a noisy area at night, with people out and about and enjoying themselves. Again, if you're looking for a sense of space, calm, quiet and beauty, this isn't the hotel. That said taxis to the V&A cost around £4 ! We were out and about every day and a few evenings too, and the size of and calmness in our suite was a welcome to return to. I highly recommend Gorgeous George, just be aware of the City centre location.

Hip en trendy hotel in business district. In donker niet overstraat lopen, maar heb me nooit onveilig gevoeld. Het hotel was fantastisch, ook personeel en restaurant helemaal top. Ga in Kaapstad met gids de Tafelberg op, maak gebruik van Uber Black, kost bijna niets maar goede auto’s en ga met gids door de stadswijken. Helemaal leuk!

Super breakfast and rooms, glorious rooftop bar and restaurant for daily breakfasts. Breakfasts are superb. Fresh fruit and scones come out before the cooked options that you order. I tried almost all the breakfasts over our 8 nights here. Location is not great at night but fine during the day. We had a studio which was large and decorated really tastefully. Service was excellent from all staff in all areas.
