Latitude Aparthotel has an excellent location, just a stone’s throw from a nearby mall with SPAR, Woolworths, and Zest restaurant. We also walked to Checkers at Sea Point Mall one of the evenings. We particularly liked the shower facilities in our three-bedroom apartment. Best shower facilities out of all four accommodations we had on this trip. We had requested a quiet unit and were allocated Room 704, which faces Lion’s Head, although due to cloudy weather over our four nights, we only had a clear view on the last night. A small disappointment was that we were informed at checked in that Hugo Social Club (the hotel’s own restaurant) no longer serves dinner as we had initially wanted to had dinner there. Breakfast service which only starts 730 am was not practical for us due to our early tour and departure time. My friend mentioned that bottled water was not replenished daily, although this was not an issue for me as I bought my preferred ones from supermarkets. I hope the management will consider the addition of a drying rack on the balcony. The apartment includes a washer-dryer but we prefer to air-dry our clothes before we pack. We also found the wardrobe layout slightly restrictive, as the wardrobe doors could not be fully opened unless the bedroom door was closed. Overall, the apartment was comfortable, well-located, and offered great views, making it a good base for our stay.
