Comfortable beds and great breakfast. Staff are all lovely and willing to have a laugh with guests. I enjoyed my stay. The Gardens area is vibrant and close to all attractions. Especially good for those wishing to hike up to Lions Head. I walked from the guesthouse.

My stay at Rosedene was the perfect start to my holiday in Cape Town. The owner and staff are warm and helpful in every way they can. I had some problems on the first day and they instantly did everything they could to help. The location is super and the view on the mountains from the rooftop terrace is stunning.

We loved our time at Rosedene. The interior is homey and warm, and so we felt like we were visiting family. The staff and owners of the guesthouse were all so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Unfortunately, one of our bags was lost after flying to Cape Town. The wonderful people at Rosedene told us not to worry and took over all the communication with the airport so we could go out and enjoy Cape Town. Nick, the owner, took the time to write down a few places for us to explore in Cape Town, and he and his wife, Christine even offered us a ride on their way out. The breakfast is beautiful, the rooms are clean, Monky the cat is a great company, and the neighborhood is pleasant and close to many nice restaurants. I 100% recommend!

A lovely guest house. Within a couple of minutes of walking you reach some great restaurants on Kloof street. A bit longer but still close is a hop on hop off bus stop on long street. The room was exceptionally cleaned. The house has both a beautiful lounge to sit in and also a roof top terrace. The owners were very kind and gave us great suggestions on both restaurants and things to do. The breakfast was great with good options. We felt safe at the guest house and the surrounding area. All in all a very good stay.

We loved our stay at Rosedene Guest House. The staff were all so helpful and pleasant - Lungi, at the front desk during the day, was just the best (and has the sweetest smile) and Deidre was very easy to work with. They kindly added a single bed into our room when my husband got a stomach virus - it was quite comfortable and the room (ours was on the back side of the building) was large enough to accommodate it easily. The staff was so kind and checked on my husband frequently the day that the rest of us were away on a tour. They treated us like family. The guest house is close enough to restaurants that you can walk to them - but far enough from the very busy part of Kloof Street that we didn't have to deal with traffic and noise. It was a very quiet neighborhood. The view of Table Mountain was lovely, and the beautiful patio - open during the day and closed in with sliding glass walls in the chilly evenings - made a great spot for a glass of wine, playing cards, and for having the pizza that we brought in one evening. The staff was so very accommodating, whatever we decided to do.

This property is splendid! The hostess was extremely friendly. Loved the free wine for happy hour! The breakfast was out of this world! Close to tourist attractions and loads of restaurants. Will be visiting again.

This little guesthouse is very nice. The staff is great, our room was big, clean and well decorated with a large bathroom and the breakfast had everything we needed. We will definitely come back when we are in Capetown.

The staff is super friendly. Lovely breakfast with views of the garden. Views are really nice of Table Mountain. Walking distance to restaurants and shops etc. Would definately recommend. Nice and peaceful.

Located in Cape Town’s central Gardens area, Rosedene is a very comfortable guest house. The location makes it easy to reach the principal attractions, the staff are very friendly and helpful; there is parking just outside. Our room was spacious and clean as were the communal areas. An excellent breakfast was available. Very good value.
