This small hotel is well located on Sea Point front. All the staff we interacted with were lovely and professional too. It only has a tiny car park, (maybe for 5 cars?) which meant we often had to search for off street parking. One evening we had to park quite a long way away. Late at night returning from dinner we didn't like this. We had a ground floor room which was a good size - but not a suite as the name suggests - and it had a very modern feel to it, especially the lovely bathroom. There was a small terrace too but only a view of a wall and the flats opposite and above the wall. Unfortunately you could hear everything from outside in the foyer, especially at 6.45am when the housekeeping team arrived and bashed about and shouted to each other. Most likely because it's tiled, the sound is amplified but they should be aware of this. We didn't appreciate being awoken so early every day. Maybe some large rugs would solve this? Surely the hotel is aware of this? We booked massages at the on-site spa (quite likely a separate company to the hotel) for 10am. We arrived promptly but at 10.15 we clearly heard the spa manager calling the therapist and admonishing her for being late for work etc as she still hadn't turned up. At that point we cancelled our spa booking and went elsewhere. Finally, we booked a deal which included breakfast, you take this in an on-site but again, quite likely a separate business. However, you only get a spend of R130, which simply doesn't cover a coffee and a decent breakfast. They then surcharge the difference. It wasn't much money - so why bother - but if you do stay here, you may as well just buy your breakfast separately. Because of being woken so early, we wouldn't return or recommend, which is a shame as the staff and management are absolutely fantastic.
