Beachside

Stunning place with amazing service. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, took off a lot of stress from us as the guests. Host was friendly and replied quickly. Beds are super comfy and cozy. Place is kept clean and neat, which is super convenient. Overall an awesome stay!

The Beachside Villa at Camps Bay was unbelievable. 5 beautiful bedrooms with 5 ensuites, incredible views to Table mountain, 12 apostles and the beach down at Camps Bay (2 minutes walk away) from the wrap around outdoor area. The living areas were huge and great for dinners etc. Dan hosted us and was so generous, kept the place spotless and nothing was ever too much trouble. A top bloke who made our stay as good as it was. Would go back in an instant, thank you!

The whole experience was great. Good communication from host, spacious and exactly as described. Beds were very comfortable. Short walk to the beach and shops. Highly recommended for either a family stay or with friends. The house is spacious enough for both!

We adored or time at Beachside! From the outset, the host, Gift, was cheery and helpful. For example, our friends had forgotten to ask for a baby crib and high chair for their 1 year old and Gift had them in the house by that evening! The day we checked out, he offered to store our suitcases all day and even let us shower at 5pm before changing into travel clothes. That made a world of difference after such a hot day! The house itself was well appointed, cozy, and you can’t beat the location!! Most places in Camps Bay require an Uber to get down to the beach, but this place is only 2 easy blocks to the beach - with tons of wonderful restaurants & cafes right there. We stayed 7 days and wish we’d had time to stay longer! Each room had a large bed, LOTS of closet space, a desk/vanity and all rooms have access to a balcony or patio plus their own private en suite bathrooms. No need to share! They have 2 Wi-Fi options, including one that worked even during loadshedding (thankfully!). We had 4 people working from here most days with no issue. The kitchen had tons of plates and glasses - they even had 6 types of beautiful wine glasses! Not like some airbnbs that only stock plastic wear. As you can tell, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and 100% recommend Beachside!

Great location, cozy home. House is big enough and have all the necessity for our need. Only down fall would be the DSTV wasn't functioning all time and some of the room don't have AC to warm up the room.

Brilliant accommodation. Beautiful rooms. Thoughtful gadgets to manage load shedding. Exceptional views from the bedrooms. Dan was really helpful. Absolutely lovely. Most comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended.

Great place for a large family group or group of friends. Comfortably fitted our 2 big families. Our host Dan was lovely, so accommodating and helpful. The house is in an ideal spot to just walk to the beach and popular restaurants and shops. House was also very clean.

Our group of friends had a lovely stay here. The house was large and spacious with plenty of room for our large group to spread out. We especially enjoyed the large outdoor space - having drinks whilst watching the sunset over the ocean, practicing yoga on the lawn and watching our friends baby toddle around happily. The beach, cafes, bars and restaurants are all within a 2 minute walk which was super convenient. Gift the property manager made sure all our requests and questions were answered promptly and it was great having the cleaner come each day. Was a great stay!

We stayed at Beachside over Christmas & New Year for just under two weeks; we were the first people returning post-covid and I understand the first people to rent this house as a self- catering villa rather than it being a Guesthouse in the past. We loved our stay at Beachside & the manager, Gift, was a pleasure to deal with and was always around if there was an issue or question. He dealt with everything speedily and nothing was too much trouble. The house is clean, lovely, has huge spaces & it was great to have en-suites in each bedroom. All rooms were a fantastic size too which was a nice change as often you stay in places where one or two rooms are much smaller than the others. Some of the bathrooms could do with a bit updating but nothing major. The quality of bedlinen, towels etc were great and it was lovely to have nice soap/lotion supplied. The living areas were very comfortable and we felt really at home. The location is absolutely amazing, just a few minutes walk to Camps Bay beach and a stretch of buzzy restaurants and bars. Having a parking space was great and proved vital at times during the busy festive period. The garden/outdoor area is nice but not huge. There sadly weren’t enough sun beds & the two there were rusty, but I believe this is being addressed. There is a safety fence around the pool which while great for families with young children was a bit of a shame for us as a family of adults who would have enjoyed sitting around the pool some days. - it would be great if it was removable to suit everyone. There is a charcoal barbecue too and a couple of outside dining areas. Load shedding / blackouts are common out in South Africa at the moment and we were provided with rechargeable lights - we didn't get wifi during these periods but again I understand this has now been sorted. Overall we were thrilled to have found Beachside, especially so last minute & had a wonderful holiday. I just think improving a few things would just enhance an already love place to stay.
