For our first trip to Cape Town we started with 3 nights at the Glen Boutique Hotel in Sea Point and we were so happy with our decision! We loved the location, the neighbourhood was safe, close to the sea where you could walk/run along the boardwalk and had an abundance of excellent restaurants to choose from. The hotel was fantastic, we loved our room and the beautiful balcony with views out to the sea. We enjoyed the breakfast and the fact they cooked your hot breakfast to order, whilst still having on offer fruit, pastries and juices. The pool area was lovely and we really enjoyed our trip to the spa, such a great perk to have access to a sauna and steam room! The hotel thought of everything and there was lots great perks, with afternoon cakes available and chocolates left on your bedside table every evening. All of the staff were welcoming and super friendly which really enhanced our stay! If we ever come back to Cape Town we would stay here again!

The staff at this boutique hotel is out of this world. Friendly, attentive and accommodating beyond expectations. The restaurant had enough options for vegans / vegetarians. The beds are the most comfortable ever! The entire hotel was super clean and well looked after. A great location that is close to Cape Town CBD and the waterfront. Excellent facilities for traveling corporates.

Just returned from yet another visit at my fave spot! The Glen Boutique and Team continues to do its magic. True to style, great Hospitality - the way it should be. I have recommended friends to The Glen over the years, some of whom have even cancelled visits to other Luxury Hotels, to return here. It’s a stunning property, and the team are genuine and friendly and all make it so very hard to leave each time the dreaded departure day comes! It’s also a perfect spot to make new friends too, as all guests are super friendly and just lovely people!

For our first trip to South Africa this March, we started with 3 nights in Cape Town, staying at this excellent hotel in Sea Point. Sea Point itself is a good neighborhood, and we found it very convenient to everywhere. The hotel was very good, with excellent, helpful staff, convivial owner (Mark), and a well-appointed room (stayed in suite 1) with a wonderful balcony. A couple of points for improvement: while the breakfasts were first-rate, the dinners were hit&miss (the Salmon was the best). Also, I’d say it’s time to replace the mattress in the room, though I realize bed softness is highly subjective. Either way, none of this detracted from a 5-star experience, and very good value for money. We would happily stay at the hotel again.

This was our first time in Cape Town although we have travelled extensively. The Hotel had been recommended to us as we prefer to stay in smaller boutique hotels when we travel. We were delighted with our experience at The Glen and would highly recommend it. All of the staff were superb in terms of friendliness, attentiveness, and helpfulness. They all seemed to remember our names within a day. They also seemed to work well as a team, and to enjoy working with each other. The food was great at every meal, nicely presented as well as a good novel variety for a small establishment. Our room was lovely. Very comfortable, clean, and bright with a good size deck overlooking the pools. We also took advantage of their web site link to private tours for two days, and the Hotel arranged for our driver/guide Mele. He was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced. The Sea Point area is beautiful and quiet, with only a two block walk to the beachfront, and a short ＜ 10 minute Uber ride to the Waterfront and CBD. We felt the Hotel was very good value for a luxury boutique hotel.

Beautiful and tastefully decorated hotel. Cozy ambiance everywhere. All the staff where so nice, attentive and helpful. Really service minded and always time for a smal talk with humor and a smile. We had a lovely massage during our stay in the spa. Good food in the restaurant. We stayed in suite 1 and it was so spacious and luxurious with such a nice balcony. We loved our time here. When we go back to Cape Town we would definitely stay here again

From the moment you step through the door of The Glen, you feel cared for. The standard of service here is exceptional! Mark leads a team of incredibly customer focused staff who are all so passionate about the service they offer! The room was comfortable and very well cleaned every day. The pool area was so inviting. The breakfast was fresh and offered an excellent variety. But the real game changer in this property is the experience. It feels like home and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel like this. We had a wonderful stay here and will no doubt, be returning again. In particular, we would like to mention C****Y who attended to our every need and was exceptional the whole time.
