"Location is the best, staff is extremely friendly, I recommend"

"I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Before arriving in Tucumán (July 8, 2025, from Bariloche), I was contacted by the Hotel Carlos V to inform me that they had plumbing problems that they hadn't been able to resolve in time, so they were transferring us to another hotel, the Hotel Presidente. Although I had already booked a room for one night, the Hotel Presidente was more expensive. I contacted the Hotel Presidente to make sure there wouldn't be any issues. The Hotel Presidente confirmed that the night was indeed more expensive than the Hotel Carlos V, but that they had a room reserved for me. Upon arriving at the Hotel Presidente and being shown the room, I immediately saw that it is by no means a 4-star hotel; it doesn't even qualify as a 3-star. Notwithstanding the above, I contacted Hotel Carlos V to request a refund of the difference in my favor. An employee explained that she had started her shift at 2 PM and was unaware of the situation, which forced me to go to Hotel Carlos V in person. Upon arriving and inquiring about the manager, the employee informed me that he was unavailable and that his cell phone was off. After some discussion, I managed to get a refund, which I then gave to Hotel Presidente—as they claimed to be a hotel of the same category as Hotel Carlos V. I tried to confirm whether the owner of Hotel Carlos V was the same as Hotel Presidente, but I was told that this type of arrangement is common. Frankly, I absolutely do not recommend either Hotel Carlos V or Hotel Presidente—however, I must emphasize that the staff were extremely courteous, which is why I mention this."

"Good location next to a big park. Good breakfast. There is a pool and a free sauna that needs to be booked for a certain time. Sauna in Argentina has nothing to do with Russian or Finnish - it is a premises that traditionally warm up to 50-60 degrees. But it is still pleasant to warm in front of the pool. Staff responsive and attentive to the guests. I was wrong with the booking date. According to the rules Trip.com I could not change it and return the money, but I called the hotel and they changed the dates at my request."

"Very well located, around the corner from the historic House and a few steps from the entire commercial area. Small but impeccable room, very well placed bathroom and excellent cleaning service. I would improve the pillows. The mattress is very good. Breakfast is correct. I recommend."
