"Surprising amount of amenities for a stay at this price. As long as you can deal with the occasional snoring (maybe bring earplugs if you need them), it’s kind of a steal. Apparently for only a little more there’s individual capsules, will have to try that someday. If you’re used to visiting onsens/sentou’s just think of it as that and an extra capsule to sleep in. They even offer to hold extra luggage at the front desk, and you can keep it there after checkout, wasn’t sure they’d offer at this price! A great deal all in all, good local vibes. Good central location too."

"Great location, nearby familymart and 7eleven. Just in front of Namba OCAT, main terminal (bus, train, JR). There's a halal restaurant. Can walk to Dotonbori and a shopping area. I chose here because the Kansai airport bus also stops at Namba OCAT. I booked a single ”room” and got space to open luggage but you have to remain quiet cause you're sharing sleeping space. I would still recommend the single bed for larger space and private locker. The onsen was great, there's only one shower for women's floor. They have common area for coffee, hot water, microwave."

"Because I stayed in a capsule hotel in Osaka for two nights, I booked this Y's online for more than 360 per night, with only one capsule bed, with upper and lower bunks, as shown in Figure 1. Compared with the Sakai Grande Sauna Capsule I stayed in the previous night (I booked 180 per night), Y's is really not cost-effective. Sakai Grande Sauna still booked a private capsule room, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, which is a separate small room with a table and chairs, and a small wardrobe with sliding folding doors. Only the bathroom and toilet are shared. Y's is twice as expensive as Sakai Grande. There are no towels in the public bathroom. You have to take the one prepared in the capsule to take a shower. There seem to be only 4.5 male showers, while Sakai Grande's public bathroom has about 20 male showers. A lot of clean bath towels are prepared, and toiletries and skin care products such as toothbrushes are also provided. Y's does not provide toothbrushes and skin care products. The two hotels are only about 200-300 meters apart, and you can walk there in a few minutes. They are all near Shinsaibashi. I personally feel that the capsule rooms with independent small rooms are much more convenient. You don't have to go back and forth to the luggage storage to get your things. You can just put your luggage in a separate room. Y's doesn't have that kind of room."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi during my trip to Osaka, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality packed into this compact, capsule-style accommodation. The capsules were comfortable, quiet, and felt more private than I expected. The lounge area was a nice place to relax or do a bit of planning for the day. Plus, the location is perfect — just a short walk from Shinsaibashi shopping street and a quick train ride to most Osaka hotspots. If you’re looking for a well-designed, clean, and cozy place to stay in Osaka, I highly recommend Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi. Especially if you value hygiene and comfort in shared facilities, this hotel delivers above and beyond."

"You can’t beat this kind of place. Cheap and cheerful. One cheerful guy at front desk for sure is Ryo Sakamoto. Every time I went to the front desk, he would smile more. It seems like all guests make him smile."

"I'm 20 days in Japan and I was alone in hotels capsules. This is the best. Large, clean, your people are service. Good Onsen and a very good coffee shop. It's only one bad thing and it's your check in it's at 17:00, but it's offset with free baggage custody."

"Was surprised by the look of the hotel and 5 star like amenities provided. The women only floor was super clean and each shower had different showerheads. There even was a mirror in the capsule. The only downside is that the hotel is close to Awaji station and it’s easy/cheap to go to Kyoto/Nara, but going to Osaka centre is kind of more expensive then expected. Also, you have to leave your room from 11:00 to 17:00."

"The location did not say, next to the American Village, basically in the most prosperous place. The residents were very conscious and quiet although there were many people. Fully equipped with public washing machine, very nice hotel."

This capsule hotel shares a name with another, and I walked my legs off trying to find it! Service: Alright, but no Chinese-speaking staff. Couldn't be helped during the National Day holiday, it was barely acceptable. The good thing is that it's conveniently located inside the airport."
