Le Meez is a well run, high quality boutique hotel. The staff are professional, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The hotel is cool, sophisticated, has class. The restaurant and bar are particular good if you favour Al fresco, freshly-barbecued meat or seafood. It’s in easy access to the sights and city of Carcassonne, 5 -10 minutes by car.

Visited with my kids 4,12 as a little bit of luxury on the last night after 10 days on a campsite. We were not disappointed. First thing to mention is the staff, the impression is that they are really proud of their hotel and really want you to like it as much as they do. they were great with the kids. the rooms are huge and well laid out, maybe needs to improve on charging points (USB A&C) but that is a minor quibble. Free parking and you can walk into town/ to the old city easily. We were only in Carcassone for one night so had dinner out but the Menu in the restaurant looked amazing and Breakfast the following morning was good. I'll definitely try it when I'm back next!

We stayed one night while traveling through the area. The location was convenient just a short drive from the tourist area. Our welcome was warm and helpful. The host very personable. He even went the extra step to run out and purchase decaf Nespresso for our room since they were out. Hotel very clean and the bed one of the best we’ve had in a long time. (Been traveling for four months). We didn’t want to get up in the morning. Only negatives are small. I’d emailed the hotel twice prior to staying with no response. Wi-Fi wasn’t great in our suite. Hallways are kind of institutional and sterile like a hospital and you can hear the cleaning carts roll past in the morning. Would still recommend this hotel.

Excellent stay with charming staff, we would like to thank André for his kindness and his many services, beautiful decoration, delicious breakfast but we would have liked more choice. high prices but good quality, we will come back and we recommend this beautiful hotel to our friends

Where do we start with this one, to the warm welcome when we arrived from André. Then upgraded to a higher grade room and they are just magnificent. Free standing bath, very modern, air con that actually works how it should. Electric curtains, excellent Wi-Fi, fridge. It really is one of the best hotels we stayed at, added to this the fact that it has only 10 bedrooms and you are in for a special time. The pool area is gorgeous and most days it was like our private pool. I couldn’t praise this hotel enough but the add on the restaurant which is top, top class. This has everything. It is a bit of a walk in town 15 minutes but taxis and public transport is a nightmare in general in Carcassonne. Overall, superb break you will not be disappointed.

Outdoor seating and pool was a highlight. Well designed and contemporary in style. Staff welcoming and attentive. Good food available in the restaurant nicely presented and variety of choice. Great ambience. Everything looked clean and tidy.

Beautiful hotel A short walk from the old town , no more than most but worth it . Immaculate inside and out . Service exceptional - nothing too much trouble. Lovely place to chill and relax whilst only a stones throw from the historic sights.

We had such a wonderful meal at Le Meez on Friday night that we decided to return and stay at the hotel on Sunday so we could access the pool and chill in a nice atmosphere. The owner Andre was so accommodating and attentive he had no problem fitting the 3 of us in at the last minute and we spent a lovely afternoon by the pool dipping our toes in and drinking sparkling wine with some nibbles. It's such a relaxing place you feel right at home and the staff do their best to accommodate any requext. High recommend this as a place to stay in Carcassone and very reasonably priced given the quality of the rooms, reception, terrace, pool and the service from the staff. Hope to come back again soon!
