I’ve been staying at the Carlisle Central location for a night or two here and there all year for work. It’s wonderful to be greeted by the same friendly faces when away from home. The staff are always helpful, and go out of their way to assist me if I have any questions or requests. It’s a great location for traveling around the region and into Carlisle center. Rooms are clean.

Tried to book a room with 3 beds (family) which was available. When i tried to explain it would be a support worker with two adults who they would be supporting, they said they could only allow up to 2 adults and 2 children in the room. If it was 3 adults i would have to book another room. I can't do this as they might need the support in the room and for safety can't be on room on their own. When i asked why they just said it was company policy. Very disappointed, thought this was exploiting people abit especially circumstances like this. When i tried to explain my situation they said they spoke to a manager but they also said no. Very disappointed. Won't be using them in a hurry again.

We arrived late afternoon on Monday 29th and spent a lovely few days here. Our room ( 115) was a Premier Plus on the 1st floor of the main building and there was lift access from the ground floor. The room was spacious and comfortable, only minor issue being it was a shower over the bath rather than a walk in. Lovely room though. The staff both in the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Situated approximately 1 mile from M6 junction 43 and the same from the centre of Carlisle it is in a convenient location. Parking is free although you need to register your vehicle at reception.

Frosty reception from the woman when we asked if we could leave our bag as we were too early to check in.. Mix up with promotional offer of free breakfast that was booked.. But.. Night manager was very abrupt that we had booked on the proper " link"... Room in anexe was full of cobwebs & spiders.. That I had to remove before my partner would stay.. Worst P. Inn we have Ever stayed in... We won't be returning

Our Airbnb was cancelled unexpectedly, leaving us stranded late at night and unsure what to do. Thankfully, this hotel was able to accommodate us at short notice, and from the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional. The young lady working the night shift was absolutely amazing. She was kind, patient and incredibly supportive when I was upset throughout the middle of the night and stressed, helping us sort out our stay and our plans for the following night. Her compassion and professionalism turned a difficult situation into a positive experience. She was absolutely lovely. Callum, the manager, was equally fantastic. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even gave our daughter a good luck card and sweets before her GCSE exam, which was such a thoughtful and personal gesture. The customer service we received was genuinely second to none. The team made us feel cared for and valued throughout our stay. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, and this was hands down the best experience we’ve ever had. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
