Ox Hotel Carlisle

Friendly efficient staff, quick check in and room was clean wirh eveything you need for a one night stay. Comfy bed and had a great nights sleep, very little noise and after 12 midnight very quiet. Would recommend to anyone as great value. Didnt have breakfast or food so unable to give a review for that. The bar was fairly busy amd the football was on great for the world cup fans. Great stop over hotel on way to Durham.

The match was coming off the bed there was a lot of stains on the bed too it was a nice room, but it was just the matches what it was coming off the bed and there was a lot of slamming doors

Good location. The place needs some updates and wifi in the rooms can improve.

This is the best place to stay in UK for a price. I ll be coming back regularly. Great room with bath for relaxing day. Gym, even table tennis. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. Receptionists are very lovely .

Asked for a refurbished room, room looked new and an improvement from my last stay. The bed wasn't amazing, but i slept and am still alive so a success if you ask me.

Just shower was not hot enough and pressure was not so strong but good valued accommodation, and it was a suitable hotel for our travel purpose. Good breakfast

A hotel that's definitely seen better days! Staff were pleasant and the room had everything we needed, even a lovely massive cobweb on the inside of the window!😉 Plenty of hot water and lovely clean towels. Breakfast was plentiful and for a day or two was okay. For the prices you pay it offers good value, I'd stay again 👍
