Stayed at the hotel for the first time with Rory’s Travel Club. The hotel was warm, clean and staff superb. Excellent customer service throughout. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable with views across the courtyard. We had an inclusive 3 course dinner and were only expecting the basics but the choices were good and the food was fabulous to say the least. We went for a walk around some of the grounds but would love to explore further on our next trip. Ideal location to visit local sights and go shopping, Kildare village wasn’t too far either for a day out. We were left complimentary hand made chocolates in the room as well as two cute rubber ducks to take home! All in all a great stay and will definitely be back but hopefully for longer… the rates with Rory’s travel club were amazing!!

Had an overnight stay on Easter Sunday. The first thing to note is that all the staff we met were extremely friendly and professional. The room was spotless and so was the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable Food was very good and plentiful for dinner. Breakfast was a buffet, which is one of my pet hates, but again there was plenty of choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but would like to suggest some improvements which we feel would enhance a stay. 1. A second armchair in the room would be appreciated and 2. Blinds would be a nice touch in the ground floor rooms as everybody passing can see straight into the room with only a net curtain meaning we had to keep the drapes closed a lot of the time. We hope to return again in the future.

Easter break Great hotel and fantastic stay can't fault a thing. Amazing price and the Food, staff, facilities all just brilliant 11 of us stayed 5 small children who had a ball great relaxed atmosphere for the children aswell we will most definitely be back.

Professional and friendly staff and a beautiful property. Our event was quite large and the staff handled the crowd excellently. Check in was smooth and friendly and check out was a breeze. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The event food was well presented and delicious.

We five had Sunday lunch today, March 24, as a bit if a celebration, in the Plum Tree restaurant as the food has been very good there on many previous visits. But it's been a disappointing dining experience for most of us today. The salmon and roast beef were good though vegetables on both plates were cold, Yorkshire puddings cold also on all plates. Three of us had roast lamb which was tough and full of grizzle, ugh, next to our cold vegetables. I reported this to our server but she seemed disinterested and overworked. I shall hesitate before returning for carvery at this restaurant in future, disappointing.

Zero food options for vegetarians listed on the menu. Whilst the only option (Pasta) I was given would not be suitable for Vegans or Gluten Intolerant. Breakfast too had no vegetarian sausages either.

On arrival was given keys to our room only to find a couple already in that room. Given 2 different rooms with a brick wall as a view having been promised a river and courtyard view. Changed again for 2nd time. It ruined what should have been a great experience with it being a birthday celebration.

Amazing food. All Staff were so welcoming, friendly, accommodating and especially on very busy St. Patrick's Bank holiday weekend. The cleanliness of the rooms and all areas of the hotel was excellent.
